Yep, bought a motor from him fairly recently.  Seemed a decent bloke.

I made him an offer on a monster beetle for my brother, I thought it was a very reasonable offer considering he wants shut of everything or throwing it in the bin. He then got a bit sulky with the offer so I've just left him to it🤷🏿‍♂️

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to bin something when you can list it on ebay for no reserve, sell it here or donate it for a charity auction.

His got several F1 kits up for £400. Thats pretty top end id say - if he'd take just over half that they would fly away in no time at all and would save a trip to the tip

It sounds like he got involved with the hobby just to make a few bucks off of it, rather than try to enjoy it.

I dunno, I'm really not a fan of business owners who give their clients a bad attitude, unless if they just don't want any customers.

He's on the Tamiya legends FB page, message him and make offers. He reduced the beetle on the website for my brother

He got asked to move it to the Tamiya legends sales page but I see he's advertised a few individually.

What an absolutely horrible person he sounds like. He deserves not to make any money on this business venture with that attitude. The people at the dump will recognise the value in it and rescue it - they're not stupid, unlike this guy.

That may be so, but my comment still stands. I'd go out of my way to avoid him making any money from me. Looks like he may have used a member's photo without credit also...

That's if he doesn't trash it all out of spite, end of the day he's throwing away his own money and wrecking collectable items
