Everyone is complaining about the limited availability. Let's look at history. We limited the number of CCs and 40ths.  All sold no stock on hand to lose money on.  AE famously lost their shirt on the worlds car which they made tons of.

As far as part supplies. Meh, Fan RC makes all the parts for the RC10 gen 1 vehicles. Heck they are now making a RC10 Graphite team car for 379, which they call the world's graphite likely for copy right reasons.

Then please allow them to complain without needing to leap to Associated's defense.

I mean no disrespect in this. I understand you are very happy and excited (as are others) to see the return of the RC10 and RC10T. That's awesome. Other folks may feel differently. Please allow them that courtesy without contradicting them each time. Honestly, if you and I hadn't been on this forum together for so long, I'd begin to wonder if you were on Associated's payroll or not. j/k.

Hahaha fair, I've just witnessed across numerous business lines what happens when customers complain.

Example, what's the last previously completely unreleased rere?? The Super Astute, 50 percent of the people on here complained about, said it was a week release, was a disappointment and etc. Since then what have we got??? Releases based on previous releases. There have been no new rere since the Super A.  Tamiya is for sure in here, I bet they are paying attention. Why would they try anything new again?

Same for AE, they got burned in the Words, they finally come back with the CC first and that was a huge nightmare, the 40th either people are mad that they made too many or not enough. Not to mention I'm a horrible driver, I bash the heck out the team car I rebuilt using 30 year old parts, I haven't broken anything yet. The spares are out there if some how you break something.

When AE re-released the World's RC10 "hype" wasn't nearly as powerful as it is now. The fact that you can sell something called a "157624" is a testament to how easily influenced people are if you work with the right "influencers".

They could easily not "limit" the re-releases and move kits, but as far as parts go there probably isn't much of a market. Most of these will likely end up forgotten in a box or on a shelf, and providing parts for old models probably isn't a concern for AE.

I'm in the camp of "sell more kits, make the price more reasonable, and sell more parts", let people experience the RC10 instead of just making into trophy. Tamiya has done this quite well, and they've even shaved off some money off of their re-res (if we adjusted the Hornet for inflation it'd be over $300 today).

My current project is to create a runner RC10 from scraps, and I'll gladly let a curious bystander try it out once it's done. These are good cars, everyone should have the chance to try one out.

I haven't kept up on the complaints myself, I think people would be happier if they drove their RCs instead of seeing them as "investments".

^ I received an email from AE yesterday, saying my order status has been updated to "Awaiting Shipment".

Still says that today, and no tracking info yet.

I got an email with tracking!

But . . .

It's just label created

Same here.

I tell myself they wouldn't have created a label without having something to send.   I hope so, anyway.

One lucky member on RC10talk.com received his 10T today.  :o
