Hobby Stores in Dallas Texas.

Recommended Posts

Well after dropping Kiddo 4 off at Uni I have a Friday and Saturday to myself before flying back to the UK.

It turns out there are RC hobby stores in Dallas and I’ve got both a hire car and a 23kg baggage allowance 😂

Whats your thoughts on these potential stores -

And what would you bring back?

I was there in April (also from the UK) with much the same plan, do make a trip across to Indy, the shop didn’t have any Tamiya that I remember but the track was great, I watched some practice, met a couple of the regulars, great way to spend a little time.

Did your child come to the US to study?

Hope you're enjoying the US.  Unfortunately, I'm far away in Pennsylvania so I am of no help with hobby shops in Texas.

Very cool!  I've never been to Texas, but I've heard stories about the hotness.  Currently it's something like 110° to 115°F!

Oh wow UK and not Surrey, Canada!  Yep, that's a long flight.  My girlfriend was in Berlin, Germany earlier this summer for work and that is a long, long flight!  I think it was 8 hours for her.  I think it's kind of unique for students to come from Europe to study here in the US with all of your prestigious universities.  Probably happens more than I am aware.  I am glad your son or daughter chose the US to study and can experience our great (I'm biased) country.  I hope to visit your country one day as well.  May I ask what made your child come to the US to study?  If that is prying too much, just tell me and I will completely understand!

No problem, lucky daughter!

A rowing scholarship was her ticket to Dallas.

An amazing experience for her, no doubt 😎
