BuggyChamp jr. with fun tool Series chassis

Recommended Posts

Recently I bought Tamiya 70112 buggy car chassis set.

Although it is just a fun tool series for children, it also has a complete suspension and transmission gearbox, which is very attractive to me.

The only fly in the ointment is that it doesn’t come with a body, and I haven’t found any other body that can fit it.

The size is basically the same as the kyosho miniz buggy

The front suspension of 70112 is very similar to BuggyChamp, so I had an idea to modify it into an RC version of mini BuggyChamp.

I kept the original structure and parts as much as possible.

The original battery box and switches are very Tamiya style, so I will install them on the new chassis, but this also results in limited internal space.

I used SG90 servo and 2S mini ESC flysky’s R4M mini receiver,And a gear box cover is made to prevent the gears from being damaged.

I'm still working on the details and I'm having a lot of fun with this chassis.

Manual transmission gearbox is full of simple pleasures.
