Street tyres and wheels for Stadium Raider

Recommended Posts

Hello all looking for some help finding some runner wheels and tyres for my Stadium Raider as I rather like the stock bobbly tyres and wish to keep them for display.

Ive just fitted a 3100kv brushless motor and 2.4g radio and finally found a couple of 2s lipo’s that will fit the battery compartment so I’m all set apart from tyres!

I tried my Tamiya Star Dish wheels for a 4wd buggy but they foul on the actual motor with these narrow arms combined with the negative offset.

I tried my recently purchased Fastrax street tyres but they rub on the front this time catching the steering hub again due to the negative offset.

I thought about the Aqroshot and then on checking realised that’s a 2WD buggy so the front bearing wheels won’t work.. I’m at a slight dead here chaps any help appreciated.

2 pairs of rear aqroshot wheels? Or do they come with a rear and a front on one sprue?

1/10 Louise E Rocket tires and wheels? They're quite deep so might be rubbing as well...

Looks like front and rear together…

Those rear Aqroshot wheels would definitely clear as they come away from the hub a lot.

I’ve got 2 sets of new wheels and tyres that came with my Blitzer Beetle in the trade section that might work for you.

The BB had a TL01 hub conversion so the wheels would fit.

You should be able to throw on some CC01/CC02 wheels/tires, ideally a set of Mud Blocks. They work on dirt and asphalt without going bald like pin spikes, while still looking good on trucks.

Be careful with the extended hexes. They can come undone at high speed so you may (should) need to threadlock the nut. Also, if running at high speed, it may cause excessive vibration. I had a wheel exploding from the forces.
