RC10B6.3D and RC10B7D

I have been running an RC10B6.3D for a couple of years and it was due to come into the garage for a cleanup and parts replacement. Back in Feb, I bought an RC10B7D and it's been sitting here since then. I was going to do a build thread but Pylon80 already has a fantastic one here. I've made a few changes with an LFR racing body and Lunsford titanium. I am horrible with taking pictures so I do not have a before and after pics for the B6.3D. I replaced worn out parts and added new Jconcepts wheels and tires. I will say, it looks brand new now and the new LFR body is amazing.

I've also added a pic of my unpainted B7D with the LFR body.

That body is good. I wonder if it would fit the TD2 but imagine it's not tall enough.

That looks so much better than the forward cab bodies. I'd happily race something like that.

Those bodies are by far the best new bodies. They make the car look sooo good.

Thanks for posting @RichieRich I might actually get that body after all! I wasn't sure about the strange webbing behind the cab; but yous looks great.

I am going to paint the B7D in a similar paint job as the B6.3 but I'm going use the Tamiya metallic blue (PS16). I think it might match the blue Factory Team anodizing better.

I think you're right. The cab has a bit of a Turbo Ultima look. I may have to take a side-by-side pic and post it.

Yeah, in one Facebook comment, Leadfinger did note that it was based on the '87 Optima Mid:

Cool.  I noticed a lot of 80's cars, but particularly Kyosho could have been the donor concept.  The Tamiya Boomerang had it as well.

@RichieRich it's in the cart... I'm seeing a crack in the original body already I'll do the Lead finger next. With my usual cobalt green and black livery!
