Is there any difference between the rear arms of a TA-01 and a GF-01?  I am looking for compatible rear suspension arms with better shock mounting options.  Any help would be appreciated.

TA-01 arms are very different to GF-01 arms, being one piece items with completely different geometry.

Perhaps you are thinking of the TL-01, which shares its suspension with the WR-02, GF-01 and G6-01?

TL-01LA suspension also fits the GF-01. The parts are quite rare now, but it works very well!

If you're looking to go wider, Evo II hard arms 53512 are a direct fit to the TL01 family (basically the TL-01LA arms but 4mm longer) and can be easier to find than the TL-01LA arms... or at least cheaper when you do find them due to their tiny market segment.  I would assume the standard TB01 arms would fit (it's the internal spacing on the arm you're worried about) but the way the sprues are laid out in the manual one cannot do an eyeball measurement via the PDF file.

In terms of a brute "will it fit" yes, the internal spacing on the TA01/02 rear arms is 24.8 or so and should fit your GF if you add a small spacer. Whether or not the boss to mount the damper will align with upper mount (in the fore/aft direction) is another question altogether.

What do you mean by "better shock mounting options"?

You can use GF-02 arms - they are a bit longer, you'd need 45mm driveshafts, but they have 3 mounting options.

Or you can use #51436 to move shock mounts to the outer hinge pin.
