I dont know if this is a viable option but....

This morning for the 1st time in a while I logged in to the club to see what was going on and to check the manuals section for a little help. I then get the message saying my account subscription has ended and I need to renew it. Now this got me to thinking, could it be an idea if you got a reminder say 10 days before that your account was due for renewal, thus giving you time to sort payment out and still having access to members features.

yes it would be nice wouldn't it. Haven't quite worked out how to do it yet though with paypals renewal subscription system.

Don't forget in your main members page there is a field that says "Joined: xx/xx/xx" etc which you can check to see when your subscription will end up to 364 days in advance... []

that date is the date you joined for quite a few people this is different to the subscription date. We ran the site for about 18mths before subscriptions were introduced.

Its a good point though and its given me an idea for a renewal reminder...
