When I try and add a picture to the trading room all I get is a "page can not be displayed", could this be related to my browser settings or is there another reason ?

OK, I've just done another test and it's not working, details below...

OS: Win98 SE (Don't laugh)

Browser: I.E 6 service pack 1 plus all updates.

Time of day: seems to be every time I tried it.

Description of actions:

I clicked on my ID from the homepage then clicked "trades" then clicked "add new item to your trade section" then as this was a test I selected status = other, type = not specified, price = N/A, title = "test", description = "test" link = not selected, subscribers only = not selected, picture one caption = "test" picture one file = "C:My Documentstesttest_pic.jpg"

Then I click the "add model" button and... "This page cannot be displayed".

If I add the item without a picture it works fine but it won't let me add the picture later either.

Any ideas ?

Also, the "page cannot be displayed" appears instantanously with no delay the moment I hit "add model"

The title bar reads "HTTP 500 Internal server error"

I'm at a bit of a loss.

Any chance you can try from another computer (I know thats not a solution but it helps narrow down where the problem might be)

I've only got this computer, also if I try and add a model to the showroom all I get is...

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a003a'

File already exists

/showroom_addmodel.asp, line 31

Ok, after googling "HTTP 500 Internal server error" I found some info that said to disable "Friendly HTTP error messages" in order to see the details of the problem.

After doing this and then trying to add an image to the trade room I now get a page that says...

Persits.Upload.1 error '800a0005'

The system cannot find the path specified.

/trades_addmodel_process.asp, line 19

Could any of this relate to the fact that I subscribed after the site was put on the new server ?

Just a note to say that member edit works for me, so I would guess it's something unique to your account, not a general problem that affects everybody...

try it now.

Was an odd one. Somehow your 'folder' got corrupted as it was getting created at a guess. The system and the code were then arguing over wether it was there or not. I tracked down the 'ghost' one the system thought it saw and deleted it. Should be OK.

I've restarted you subscription period from today too.
