Finally got to my LHS to pick mine up today, been sitting there for just over a week, but been too busy to get there to pick it up. So good to have it, the box is very pretty as @Nick-W states above

Someone is after £268 plus £11 postage on a brand new one on eBay.

I don't know whether I'm impressed with their business acumen or just think they're a chancing swine for flipping one.

The latter, obviously. But it was bound to happen...

It's supply and demand, nothing wrong with it.  There was time for people interested to get a pre-order in before they arrived and there are more coming.

If someone's happy to pay over the odds to get one right now, then so be it.

Not sure who's the pig, that poor devil trying to extract a few dollars by reselling his pre buy (not cool for the hobby, we all agree) or eBay who will happily pocket 13% of the transaction... Including tax and shipping naturally.

This, Ive no idea why people moan about people doing it. Some Facebook groups get enraged by it. I got literal hate messages for selling my RC10CC above retail (I made less than £70 'Profit' by the time Id posted it). I didnt buy it to sell on, plans changed so I sold it).

eBay is free in the UK, no fee's for private sellers.

Socialism 🤣 Encouraging people to buy used goods rather than throw away and buy new. We are on another planet altogether where I live.

My order for 2 from Tower was never fulfilled.  TamiyaUSA site is now showing it discontinued!  So I am getting a bit nervous and might have to buy it from elsewhere.

Did anyone receive their order from TowerHobbies?

It's available from AMain, around 140$ shipped with the BF discount.

Hi Pylon, even my LHS / Track has it. Just don’t understand what’s happened to Tower. Two years past system change and it’s a mess still.

i had $75 worth of credits I applied to this order.

Question for those who have bought the MCI Rothmans stickers - did you select the 956 1/12th set and pick the scale section to 1/10th or is there another set on their I cant find?

https://mciracing.ca/products/1-12th-tam-58042-porsche-956-rm-mk-5-rothmans-decals

Or did you get these ones which are for a different livery?

Do not buy either as better options will be available soon.

From MCI?

possibly...

needabiggershed.com is working on a decal sheet as is a forum member. Who knows with which company they partner for the actual printing.

In The Netherlands the Porsche kit comes (not all) with a Tamiya Cup sticker on the box. Will there be a new class for Group C cars?

I bought the MCI set for 58042 scaled to 1/10 because I wanted the Shell and the Dunlop as well, which seem to be an oversight to the current offerings. MCI would do well with an addendum sheet with just the Rothmans at correct size for the new kit, Dunlop and Shell - IMHO of course.
