I doubt mine will be boxart, I must admit I really like this one from RC Kleinkram

Saw them pop up again at Amain here in the US and had to jump on it. This will be my first Tamiya kit that isn't a re-release buggy of some form. Looks like a fun little kit!

Yes sure. Based on the noted Tamiya 50460 but I got it from https://radretrorc.com/

It seems that this store has the exclusive for this product. In Europe or elsewhere I can't find it.😢

Because it's a punishable crime😵 to comment on the Gallery thread Mr @GToddC5

The RM box looks about the same size as the Group C chassis, I always thought the RM were fairly small.

I know right? I was shocked as well.

Getting quite jealous of all the deliveries now! I’m furiously refreshing my emails to see when my pre-order lands.

My preorder still isn't here. When they went live a few days ago on Amain, I jumped on another one and it shipped before my preorder! FYI, they are in stock again today on Amain . . .

For all those who have already started assembly:
A small error has crept into the manual - page 14, the headlight designations have been reversed.
It is possible that this has not yet been corrected in the first batch of instructions.

Thanks - Mine is not the corrected version and is labeled as L1.

Pretty much there with the roller, and I imagine the paint process to be lengthy and painful

Check out the last pic, to prepare yourself for the paint needed!

The color chassis came on the first release early models. Black, red, blue and green. This was a parts tree I looked for and bought right after finding out about this kit's release.

MCI will sell a load of the decal sheets but how's the colour comparison?

Just wondering what is special about this car.

It's pretty inexpensive, is it a re release?.

It's a Porsche for starters and they are always popular.

Not a re release as such because Tamiya did a RM chassis version donkeys years ago.

I don't like Porsche's but I like this one, and it's a Group C chassis which seems to be enjoying a resurgence in popularity. They are a really simple chassis which would explain the relatively low price. I have 4 group C's are they are quick and the bodies are probably the best Tamiya have produced. Just ignore the Daytona Thunder and Street Devil, their bodies aren't Tamiya, nice but not Tamiya.

For the price it's tempting even tho I'm not a road car guy.

Looks like no front suspension.I assume torsion rods in the front.

Tiny springs that's all.

A smooth surface is a must
