njmlondon Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 I am blown away by some of the work on this forum and have happily purchased many items for my Wild Willy and Scorcher through the now defunct Shapeways. i am currently working on my Lancia 037 and have a beautifully detailed cockpit to go with the amazing hard body. However the 037 had the engine in the rear and it was very visible beneath the big rear window and I want to put an engine bay in there. is there anyone out there who can help with some design work to create a 3d relief engine bay? I attach a photo so you can see what it should look like. The first photo is a photo printed and dropped into the Tamiya body on top of the existing cockpit and the bottom one is the real deal. I don’t really need the whole bay although that would be amazing, more the gold cam covers and the other cylinders…
Pintopower Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 This has been done already. His username on instagram is "luckynumber15" and it is amazing. It is designed for the TA03 and with his permission I can send the TA02 version I made. I've attached Michael Platypus's build. 4
njmlondon Posted September 26, 2024 Author Posted September 26, 2024 That is perfect! Exactly what I was thinking. I would love to get a version of that. I have bought a few of your ORV things through shapeways if I recall correctly but they are gone now. How could we do this? Thanks!
