Pen for detailing

Recommended Posts

Hey,

What pens do you recommend for hard body detailing, such as window frames, door handles, even work on driver figure.  Black and silver be the main options required

Thanks 😊

Posca or Gundam markers. Depending on if you want safe paint or toxic paint.

fwiw. you're probably better off buying a set of fine brushes, and using those little pots of acrylic paint (Tamiya, Humbrol etc) - not only will you get a more control with line width and paint volume, but you can also mix colours and adjust the thickness/viscocity of the paint with water - better for detailing fine moulded details.

Note if you plan to paint window frame and rubbers, use this trick - makes it very easy to get a sharp edge:

Hope that helps!
