BBX diff into TRF201?

Heya,
 

I have a project on the go, and I am looking for a TRF201 diff assembly to go into it. (yeah right!)
I'm wondering as the title says, will the BBX difff assy work? (I'm talking the ball diff/drive cups etc.

If anyone knows, give me a hoy!

BBX diffs are same width as gear diffs, TRF201 diffs are narrower. 

FF-03 used the same design as TRF201, but there's only aluminium variant available, which is probably not good for a buggy.

BBX diff is basically a TA06 diff which is too wide as people have said. I designed a trf201 gear ase to take that diff to be 3d printed. If you are in the uk i can get a set made for you for about 40 pounds in proper shapeways style sls nylon or mjf. PM if you're keen

Thanks for the offer. I won't take you up on it right now though.
I do have an XM conversion kit on the way, I want to see if I can use that first...somehow.
I will keep you in mind.

XM gearbox is compatible with gear diff, so it should work.

Edit: now I noticed that the conversion kit's gearbox appears to be narrower.
