I've been and checked and the map is spot on.

This is the glamourous meeting place, first proper turning on the left coming from the A614/A1 roundabout. Friar Tucks Portacabin. Nice big hard standing carpark. Meeting/Trading time 10am - 11am

It is just across the road from the main enterance to clumber park.

Although it £3.50 a car to get in the park 'proper' there is a barbque area which might be quite suitable for a bit of racing before you get to the paying bit. We can work this out on the day.

At best I think the conditions will be 'soft'

well all thats left for me to do is pack the car, so far Ive managed to cram 16 into the boot + all the radios, batteries, wet weather gear and such with still a little room to spare, Ive got one on the rear parcel shelf (terra scorcher) and so far 4 in the rear foot wells with possible room for another 3 ontop, the back seat is so far empty, but Ive got 9 cars in boxes to squeeze into there, I may have to take a few of them out (FX-10 and Meteor first me thinks) I was worried that they wouldent all fit and that I would have to compremise and leave a few behind but I think I will just about manage it somehow???

Im looking to be at the meeting place for 10 look for the Green Proton.[8D]

PS: bought a new radio on friday and fitted it into the Icarus this afternoon, give it a quick test drive in the street and BOY does it fly, nowt but powerslides on the wet tarmac that will be the first car I drive tomorrow.[:P]

See Yah all there [:D]

I'm only bringing 4 cars though[:(]as I can't fit that much in my car.

See you all tomorrow.

Be there or be Square.

Well i'm rebuilding the green avante as you read this , brand new :- torque splitters/ball diffs , dynatech 02h , novak esc and sanyo 3000 NiMH battery , I cant wait to see which bit breaks first !

Might bring the monster beetle aswell as a bit of a contrast .

I suppose it might draw too much noise attention if I bring the MBX4 ?

Big big thank you to everyone who made yesterday possible, it was an absolute blast, perfect weather for splashing around with the Sand Scorcher, it seemed to make a lot of people smile, i've just seen the film clip, its fantastic, for those who weren't there, mine's the red and white one, unfortunately out of frame for a lot of the film due to changing over batteries.

gonna get some fresh cells made up for the next bash, just hope there's some mud and water around!!

Mud and Water??

In GB? surely not????

It did really show the Sand Scorchers to be the great cars that they are, 1 for show, and at least 1 to run !!!!!!

wonder if they will go as well in snow??? I guess I'll find out really soon!!!
