hey Evoman,

I found a hobby shop near me that has the dyantune motor for sale. It was like almost 50 quid. Why so expensive? I am bringing a few people from the Bury Buggy Club to check out Tamiya at its best. They all race Losi's or HPI's but I love tamiyas!!!

Just to re-iterate I have said that I'm taking 12 cars to Snetterton, 10 of which are actually Tamiyas, but given I'm know for collecting "other"stuff I'm only officially taking 2?

I will also now be taking my Bigtrak as well and I might be getting another car off Richard (a really tatty Kyosho Raider) which I will use for a ramp jump or banger race if I can get it running.

but even so I will have plenty of room left for other cars to take and if anyone out there wants to take a closer look at any of my more unusual cars then speak now or forever hold your peace, I am prepared to take a few more cars if called upon to do so, take a gander at my showroom and if you'd like a closer look at something like a Hirobo Zerda, AYK Pro Radient, Monogram Brushfire or the Mugen Mercury I will too happy to bring them along too if asked

will the ten pounds include race time on the track? What time are the gates open to look at buyers stuff and racing? Is this a all day event? I hope so.

Your entrance fee gets you admission to the event. We will be running as many races as we can during the day (hopefully pretty much continuously) so there is a very very good chance that you will get quite a few races in - just listen for the anouncements.

The gate will be open from 9am until late and the racing/trading.drinking will go on until after dark as many of us are staying over actually at the track.

All inclusive mate. Its a 2 day event so loads and loads of racing and trading!

I think there should be awards for the best of show, worst of show, most wanted project/NIB kits, rarest kit, best crash( nice one with the txt-1 there Biggus I saw that hehe, most hopped up car, and maybe some other stuff like that. A raffle would have been another good money maker. You could have raffled off a hot meal, warm jacket, hot cocco, sleeping bag, or even a car kit. Where is the next Spring Drive or will there be a Summer/Fall/Winter one as well? Thanks for letting me spend all my money tamiya!

when I saw your car launch off that ramp, i thought that you would be spending alot more money on it. the 1/5 scale car that broke that jump in the middle took the cake though. he gets the DOH! award in my book. You go the holy ____ fill in the blank award.

lol, blazer frazer and I should get the mental nutcase award, racing his Tamiya GT1 against my touring car (a mission) in the dark, well, we werent really racing, just driving about a foot from eachother at top speed and we could hardly see, then we were up at 6:30 the next morning for some early morning racing, that was quite funny.

I do believe I was up before you as I was on the track testing a new Speedo as you emerged from your tent!

I blame it on the market traders as they woke me up and I could not sleep. well that's my excuse for getting up at 6.15 to repair my Speedo. Thanks to BiggusDitchus for doing lighthouse duty the night before! I cant believe that we managed to race so well in the dark! FUN not to mention the chocolate biscuits and beer he was handing out!
