Well, as some of you may have read, I got the kid a Pumpkin.

First thing that happened was that I appeared to have gotten an Ebay Special upgrade in the form of the body posts, one part screwed itself off and disappeared on the lawn, leaving us with the three functional body posts. :D Reminds me of the Frank Zappa line "it's a little bit cheesy but it's nicely displayed".

Anyways, the wheelie bar ... getting the screws in (sort of) was a major pain. Going forward, is there some other way of securing this?

I was thinking of just drilling a hole right through, getting a longer screw and some thread lock on the nut.

All in all, I think it's going to be a long runner in the family - it's like a little puppy coming along everywhere. :)

"Why not go crazy, when the rest of the world seems to?" :D

Might be an option, @alvinlwh. Was contemplating the UK Monsters carbon setup.

TBH, I do not think it is a crazy or not issue. The original wheelie bar just makes that horrible scraping noise with it tiny" wheel". This with a proper wheel makes wheelies feels more "refined". Not that a CW-01 is refined! 🤣

I have one of these on my daughters LB.

It works well, however the tyre does come off the wheel sometimes, which is mildly irritating 😂

if I remember right, the OEM wheelie bar is attached by two corse screws on either side. Is it possible to drill though and use a long fine thread screw and a nut?

I worded it sloppily ... but that idea was inside my question, so to speak. :)

As @toyolien has shown too - thanks! :)

The monster Uk stuff is very good, I have used the wheelie bar on my grandsons lunchbox.

Although I have gone to extremes with my one.
