Well, fellow Americans.

Better buy that car while you can, before we pay 600 dollars for a slash....thanks to the great Donald J Trump.

Theyre already 600 dollars in the UK :/

That's false.... A quick search shows the 4x4 for 359. In a few places.

Yah once before.

I'm tempted to destroy a new built, never run Juggernaught by hammer to protest the tarrifs.

Think trump and Elon would take notice? LMAO.

Reciprocal tariffs. Try acting like you care more about America for a change, and not all the other countries that have tariffs on us. Smash whatever you want, at least you can post something for "What have you done today" without going off track and off topic. Again, there's a section for off topic blather.

You will think so until places like associated no longer produce any re releases due to no Americans buying them. All companies are going to take a huge hit....small Chinese companies like Rlaarlo that produce awesome RC cars are probably going to fade away.

Tune into my future video of a juggernaught getting creamed by an estwing hammer. Possibly a NIB Kyosho Raider right beside it.

Stay tuned

@Thunder downunder. My brother broke a shock tower within the first week on his new Grasshopper 2 back then when crashing into the stairs outside in winter temps. A new tub was no option on paperboy salary, so it was glued with Araldite (blue) with a large overlapping over and under on both sides. Not pretty, but to this day he has still not changed the tub.

Sounds like a ‘Ghetto Mod’ thread photo opportunity (please) 😃

As if the TD4 isn't already enough of a PITA to build, let alone cut out the body, let alone the DECALS on this body... I pulled the tape and film and found a cloudy defect in the lexan right in the top middle of the canopy.   Tried everything in my arsenal but had to go with just paint it.  Of course after wasting time with the interior bits.  Could of left the inside ugly... There's another fog spot on one of the side windows in the bubble for the servo arm.  At least the chassis window areas are clear enough.  couldn't see the defect with the film(you can actually see the slight fog in the blister).  Be really angry as I got new shocks and other goodies en route.

Also painted a 1986 boomer shell(gotta love no-film no mask paint jobs being so darn spoiled these days) and an F189.   Have like 3 hardbodies ready to go but weather wasn't quite THAT good.

Feeling dizzy now...

This looks GREAT!

Also, I'm suddenly hankering for an Oscar Mayer weiner :P (Sorry, it's my comedy tourettes!)

Seriously though, I can't wait to see this completed!

thank ya thank ya... The decals in this instance make the body palatable even though it will test your patience like a very windowy very body trimmy all-sticker touring shell.... I have a boring blue shell but they're only $27 for the set so figured I'd have another go... Does kind of look like a fast metallic wiener.  I was adding text above I had a conniption that I had to paint the window black...

I'll think about it next time I  visit him. The car is still around. I saw it last summer.

Hey Bro. We are here to discuss rc cars. There are plenty of other forums to discuss your voting choice. I feel you'll get more positive responses there.

We have the “anything not RC related” page right here.

For all the stick it gets I dont mind building a TT series car. The slop and shocks are terrible I agree but hey. This flew together to be fair. I also had an apprentice to help me. I dont normally work on the floor but my daughter couldnt reach the desk and wanted to help

I had an hour in the sun at the local 'park'  I'm charging a battery as we speak ready for round 2.

I bought this from a guy from my town. It's a TT02 with a combination of Chinese bling, a high speed gear set, 29t pinion, sporting some rather snazzy Alfa Romeo SV aluminium wheels.

Yes that's the 550 mega black motor from an Arrma gorgon, I had one spare so in it went. It screams on full throttle with 3300mAh Overlander NIMh batteries, it would be lethal on 2s lipo. The vibration is unreal, it literally shakes screws and bolts loose. It's still work in progress though, much more to be done.

I think discussing the effects of tariffs on japanese imports to the US is relevant to those of us in the US.  That said, there is a non-rc forum here for those discussions.

Yes, I totally agree. Unfortunately, it devolves into members being jerks to each other which is was happened in this thread. (The posts have since been removed.) The pattern is always the same and the result is always the same. :(

Would appear so.   LOL

Look, I think virtually all of us come here because we prefer our Tamiya sans politics.

How do we discuss pertinent political issues that have a direct impact on Tamiya products in the US?  Or do we ignore them?

Folks across the pond have discussed the VAT here and how it effects their hobby budget for years but somehow seem to manage it without making it political.
