Snetterton Spring Drive: Where is everyone staying

OK just a quick question? I know quite a few ppl are planning on camping out but for those that arn't where are you planning on staying?

I know most ppl will be at the breckland lodge, but is anyone staying anywhere else? or in other words, I couldn't get a room at the lodge cos it was fully booked so was instead dirtected to a B+B in Attleborough called "Lynden" on Connaught road, are any other members booked into this place as well?

I will be coming down with a trailer tent that a friend is letting me borrow. After trying to make it up at the weekend it would seem to be able to sleep a small army[:0]. At even comes with a built in wardrobe[]

We will also be bringing a gas BBQ so the weather better be nice[?]

Hi all, I am planning to arrive on Saturday morning about 8am, Does anybody know for sure if people will be camping next to the track. I may bring the caravan but only if I am able to site next to or very nearby the track [?].I understand that if you turn up to late then there is less chance of getting close. I am new to this site and there is so much to digest in one hit. If I bring the van I plan to bring lots or new and used Blazer and Hilux parts for sale.I am hoping that somebody will reply and say " Sure, just rock up and park up! there is loads of space!" What has anybody heard?

Hi frazer, its me again. Looking forward to getting that avante from your friend, i just hope it arrives here quickly, fingers crossed! He seems like a good guy, at least he mails back very fast as alot of people just seem to bother.

I was either bringing a tent or was just going to have a quick 40 winks in the car. There wont be any time sleep anyway what with all that racing, trading and having a laugh.

I'm taking the caravan down and I have been told that there is a camp site next door but my only query is does any body know if it has got any electric hook up for the power ??????????

I am going down early Saturday morning to try to get a space so fingers and toes crossed and Ill see ya all soon[]

This would be easier for me to avoid M25 early morning on the Saturday.

But for everyone else's info - I will be taking a tent, with the back up of sleeping in the car if I can't workout how to put it up!

i remember when i went to a track at west London a few years ago with a friend that does the Euro Cup and we managed to put the van right next to the track, i could use the top of the van as a rostrum! I did a display of old tamiya cars then, i run the first 4 Tamiya cars round the track in a sort of race. I got a small photo in Radio Race Car.Looking at the photo of this track i wonder if we could do the same here. Most of my gear is 12v so the hook up is not so important to me. i have an inverter if you dont have one.

Tamiya Races?????, if you mean one of the eurocup ones then nope.. this is much more important, it is the spring meet of the tamiya club.

Basically power for caravans is by extension cable only (which will need to be in excess of 20 meters in length and you need to bring your own) For health and saftey reasons you will not be able to do this during the day, only in the evenings.

Breckland is full and has been for months, apparently something else is going on that weekend and most places are booked - Wireless and myself are staying here:

WOW [xx(] Everywhere seems to be booked up it's near impossible to find anywhere to stay. now I've booked my room, here's the link they have some rooms available

I must have called over 20 hotels, b&b's and there all booked

Snetterton Race Circuit has a big event on as it being the Easter weekend

so I guess there's going to be a lot of traffic on the way to snetterton[V]

Yea there is proper car racing on the TVR Tuscan challage and GT cars are amongst the line up so take some ear plugs. []

Well I'm gonna be in the caravan with Purplebugsy! No mucky thoughts thankyou! [:I] He's very kindly agreed to put up with me for the w'end!

I've sorted the 'brown booze' & pot noodles![] (Yes, I eat Pot noogies)

Well, things are good. I got my snett ticket yesterday and today managed to get a room at the Breckland lodge.

Now I really have to finish some of my projects.
