Can’t stand the rain against my window

It’s been raining here for months now. My once grassy yard resembles the Louisiana bayou and my drive has turned into a WWI muddy battle scene. The ground just won’t take anymore water, I fear home flooding soon. I’ve started moving important things upstairs.

Best of luck.   It's a horrible feeling.   We occasionally will have basement water issues depending on how saturated the ground hydraulics get.   I've already been a nervous wreck for days while being on vacation and looking at the rain forecast back at home where I can't do anything about it.....

It is a horrible feeling. The creeks on either side of us are swelling so I watch the rain radar every day now and pray for a little sun soon.
