Eric Bloodsmith 25 Posted February 13 I've got some time off next week, and have decided to spend a full day at the local carpet on-road track practicing. I've got all my cars just about ready to go, I just need to paint the C11 body, and solder an xt60 onto it's esc. The lap timing system will be up, and my transponder worked with it last time. I'll be taking my Group C chassis, the BT-01, and a 3racing m4. How exactly do I make the most out of this track time? I feel like dialling in the BT-01 would be nice, experimenting with springs, but I'm not sure how to tune and experiment with the Group C. I'm also certain lowering the ride height on the m4 would be worth trying, but is there anything I'm missing?

How things are so different in N. America compared to the UK... the only tracks local (as in 2 hours drive in any direction) to me, are all temporary in a school or village hall. What a joy to have a permanently setup track. Hope you enjoy your practice session.
Eric Bloodsmith 25 Posted February 20 Well, yesterday was pretty fun! I forgot to take any pics, but here you can see the results of my roll overs. The track was as splendid as last time! The traction was superb once I warmed up the tires, and I managed to put down some nice lap times! I can't wait for the snow to thaw out so I can join in on Postal Racing. And the Endurance series! Most that are holding on do so because they have owned the space for decades and the owners don't make a good living at all and pay their employees with dirt. Most guys you see in US forums drive hours to get to a track accept for the few that just happen to live near them. And they are almost all far away from population center cities. And the race schedules work around most people jobs, so the distance is prohibitive to say get off work on a Friday and drive 2 hours to a track, race, come home at midnight. You have to REALLY want it so to speak. I would love more temporary ones at least set up here and there occasionally like you get over there. Mostly what would be even better was outdoor space and tracks on public park land. But not going to happen.
