Worksop Travelodge booked and will be coming up with my missus. Leaving Brighton around 4pm so should get there by 8pm just in time for a meal and beer. Cafe in the morning sounds good and definately better than Travelodge corn flakes.

Gonna take a load of lexan delights and have many cars up for sale/trade plus a load of off road runners.

Just a Thought?

as we are invading Clumber park a lot earlier this year (it was Nov 24th last time if you remeber) the weather should be better and the park more full of other ppl enjoying the delights of the outdoors, now as I recall we got hasseled a bit by a Park Ranger last time, but we managed to fob him off, but I doubt they will be so easily convinved this time, especially if their is a load of Marders tear arsing about the place :S

so will we have to get permission of some kind of groupe pass this time round? and I've just been checking through the old thread for last years event and a £3.50 entrance fee was mentioned, we did not have to pay that last time as their was no one on the gate, but will there be someone on dute this time around?

as I said just a thought?

Hey Chaps,

The name of the pub is the Mill House and good news it's whin stumbling distance for you guys at the lodge, there also do great food.

Daz, i'll only stick to Half of Mild[:)][:P].

Hey Wldnas,

There should be no problems with being hassled, me and joe, moosey, Bugsy all go to Clumber racing Marders on a regular basis and never have any poblems after all there are folks razzing round on crosses etc half the time so the park keepers are more concerned about "policing" them rather than us.

There is a entrance fee to the park of £3.50 but a attendant normaly collects this when he is on his rounds and not at the gate.

The park is normaly quite busy on Sundays but in saying that it is big enough foe everyone[;)].

If the park atendants give us any stick, i spoke to them in the office at clumber 3 weeks ago and they said that there was no problem as long as we don't make a mess and leave B4 10pm

Daz, Roop, Claire, Moosey, and whoever is there on saturday night i'll see ya all in't pub with the missis [8)]

Hi guys and girls.

Chris touched on this subject a while back in this thread, how are we going to arrange the running of our cars and the handling of the radio frequencies?

We were fortunate last year for Stulec to arrange the running and sorting of crystal clashes at the winter meet, but unless we we're all going to chip in for a fare from Canada for him i don't think he'll be helping us this time.

Also at Snett there was a peg board already there to use. (although it was more abused!!)

I definatley think if there are more than 10 of us going than we should bring some sort of peg board with us, we are going into a busy park were an out of control Marder does not really bear thinking about.

We should also try to organise some kind of timetable for the sunday which is when most people are going to attend. If we get this sorted now and everyone has a copy it will run much smoother and everyone will get the most enjoyment out of running their cars against similar models, where's the fun in running a Sand Scorcher against an Avante or a Dyna Storm??

If we run era's of models it might be better than say just running racing buggies on there own. What do you think??

Lets get this sorted, and have a great day out!!!!

I'll make a start on the peg board!!

Hi all,

Not sure what sort of area we'll be operating over tomorrow so would it be a good idea to bring walkie-talkies...? I will bring a pair of PMR446 with me. Any others that use this system (most of the decent licence free ones do these days) will work with each other.

The park is huge, but the are we usual play in is probably half the size of the track at snetterton. If you used walkie talkies you would probably hear each other even if they were turned off[;)]
