Well, Claire and I got back from Clumber at 9:15pm eventually. What a great weekend. The weather was great, the company was great, the trading was great and there was great fun to be had in tooling around with loads of different buggies. Saturday night was a blast too. What a marvellous weekend perhaps marred only by "that incident" [B)]

Thanks to everybody who helped sort out the weekend. Lots of people helped out and made it happen, but I must especially thank Paul (PurpleBugsy), Lee (Sonic), and Joe (Volksrod68) who helped me clear up the car. Shame Claire didn't feel she could enjoy it [V] but there's always next time [:)]

Lots of people made the weekend great including the aforementioned plus Mark (Moosey), Daz, Jez, Jimbo and the rest of the crew.

Fair play to Daz for driving from Brighton as well [^]

As ever, videos and pics to follow...!

Cheers all,

Roop

Clumber 2003 was a fantastic day, actually I prefer this kind of informal event to the more organised Snetterton type meetings, but then again when thinking about it, there isn't much oppertunity for ppl with road cars to run at Clumber, perhaps there is room for both kinds of events, one more for Off-road and one more for On-road, 2 events a year is about the right freqency I think for big get togethers like this.

It pretty much ran to the same format as last year apart from the weather was superb [8D] the running itself was a little more restrained than last year I felt, not too many cars getting badly damaged this time, although I think most ppl suffered in some way or another ;)

the video's should be good :)

What can I say that’s not already been said?[xx(]

Brilliant weekend, got pi$$ed[:P], broke some cars[:0] and met up with the rest of the gang (see above).[;)]

Sorry Rich, for the slight mishap[:I].That Cat’s got some claws hasn’t it? But it doesn’t steer to well in mid air[;)],You'd better bring some shin pads next time[:o)].

Can’t wait for the next meet.

Got this movie of the 3 speeds in action to keep you all going? Looks good from an ant’s eye view.[:)]

Nice one James old bean. Sweet video. I have had a quick go with the stuff I took. This is quick and dirty, so don't expect anything amazing...! I'd send the masters down to you, but it's a 10.5GB capture...!!!

You will probably want to right-click and Save Target As on these...

Hi WWD,

Glad you liked the movie. The soundtrack is the intro to my favourite film of all time - The Cannonmball Run. The Track is called Cannonball (Sea to Shining Sea) by Ray Stevens.

Get that Lamborghini V12 on fat carbs...! Drool [:P]

It is a truly sweet vid - the sound/vision syncs are excellent - especially the terra cusher (?) coming out of the hole, swiftly followed by the SRB 'lemming' fracas

True work of art Roop[^]
