Anyone can come, and from Birmingham Centre it is about 150 miles to Snetterton

In very basic terms, go down the M42 East turn onto the M6. Go all the way to the end of the M6 (J1) and turn onto the A14. Stay on that road for about 1.5hrs until you hit Snetterton.

Can anyone give me breakdown of events? I presume a nomal racemet is taking place there as well as our meet? if so when can we run our cars? where do we run them? on track? off or on road?

Alsdo some of my gear from the US is 75mgz AM, is it legal here or would I have ot convertit, i believe you can convert it?

The video won`t play on my pc so can`t get any info from that..

If its the same as last year - and I believe it is

- there is no other race meet - we get it to ourselves 24hrs a day for two days. (although they don't like nitros running after 11pm)

- On sunday there is a market surrounding the course so you can expect a few thousand people watching. We keep them out of the immediate track area as best we can, but you will need to keep your eye on your kit.

- No, you will not be allowed to run 75mhz gear

- There are two courses an excellent on road one and a not so excellent off road one (I think Moosey an dfriends are looking into if it has been improved since last year.)

- Events are to be decided but this will be done in ADVANCE this year, with each event having a definate start time and chrystal allocation. If you turn up on the day to race, there is a good chance you will get a few runs, but priority will be given to those that register in advance

- race details will be published soon

Cheers

im hoping that there will be races for each class of car...

SRB, Sand rover/Hol Buggy, etc etc..

i know there will be a few sand rovers ready to race this year so maybe it would be nice to get them going together and get it on video/pics.

hopefully i will be there as its my first(funds allowing-wedding to pay for!!!)whats the set up there in the way of power do we bring car batterys or is there a mains supply for us to use?.

is there a format to the racing eg 4wd,2wd,touring car, monster truck etc etc....

sorry to be a pain its just i used to race and some of the places i used to go to were terrible!.

Assume it will be terrible and then you won't be disappointed and there is a better chance it will turn out better than you expected [;)]

Seriously though, these events are not professional race meets. Often the race format is just the winner being the one who's batteries last longest. Infact from last year we had no winning postitions.

There are 'very loose' categories for the events like 4wd, 2wd, willys etc etc - but even within those the are cars with stock motors and some with ulta hopped up motors and chassis.

It all about having fun and and running your cars. If you are coming looking for lap times and trophies, you are coming to the wrong place[;)]

If you want to see how loose the categories are take a look at this photo
