World Tamiyaclub Meet 6th March 2004 - near you!

OK most of you will have already read about a club event in the UK on the 6th of march and its very sad that some (most) of our members won't be able to attend due to problems of geography.

So how about this, you all go out and try and get a group together on the 6th of March and run your cars on the same day? Then on the Monday we'll have a mass Action Events Posting session in the showrooms - I might even spin this off into its own special event page. Even if its only small groups, its good to meet up and drive with other members and think it will make an interesting section of the site - pictures from around the world on the same day at the same 'virtual' club event. Us in Snetterton in raincoats and scarfs and the Oz Possie racing around the barbie on the beach (no stereo types there then []) Cool

Try and take at least one picture with the date on and a banner saying Tamiyaclub and where in the world you are. Even if its in your own backyard!

Great idea, any guys in the North Lincs area want to meet up let me know, just remember my wife will be about to drop our baby at that point so might have to rush off is she gets too excited.....[][]

Nice, if you are making decals, is it possible to make some "large" one's that would fit nice on a lunch box ?

I am getting my LB parts together now, so soon i should be able to build / complete my tamiyaclub.com lunchbox.

I'm near Danbury/Putnam County. I'll go. I don't have time to set anything up however and don't know where to go. Early March is still dead-of-winter around here. Most likely, outdoor locations will be too wet & nasty.

I don't know of any really good indoor tracks around here. Maybe Barnstormers (http://www.barnstormersrc.com/), which I've never been to, or that place in Farmingdale/Melville Long Island whose name I don't even know.

I will try and contact members in Japan and around Asia to see if we can meet up on March 6th. I tried last year but there was unfortunately not that many interested so it was cancelled. []

I miss the geography of the UK.... here we got MILES of nothing in between the big cities.
