Does anyone know how reach any of the above mentioned places? I ask because, at this point, I'm certain my missing parts over the years are located on or in one of them. Above all are battery retainers. Many Clod Buster, Blitzer and even DF01 battery retainers have been spirited away to one of those places, I'm sure of it. They disappear without a trace, ...like none. Misplaced items often turn up weeks or even years later, but not so with these battery retainers. I've mentioned before that the top chassis covers on Kyosho car crushers also disappear, likely to other universes. Body clips, fasteners and about half the stuff I drop off my workbench wind up slipping away from our reality as well. I've checked with the local elves, gnomes and dwarfs and none are to blame (though the gnomes admitted to taking an odd sock or two now and then). Even the Easter Bunny was of little help. So, is there any luck retrieving any of this stuff?

I'll check in the bottom of my overnight suitcase for you, because that's where I just found my camera.  I've been looking for it for 3 days, having not seen it since I went to Stafford 10 days ago for a race meet.  I looked in the suitcase 3 days ago and it wasn't there, and it wasn't there yesterday morning either, but it has rematerialized there within the last 24 hours.

Your battery retainers aren't in there right now but they might appear later.  Maybe the King Blackfoot tailgate that went missing when I moved house 14 years ago will appear there also.

I find that these places eventually reach saturation point, and things start coming back from them quite regularly. For example, there is what I first thought to be an insatiable void below my work table that eats things like small spacers, e-clips, body pins etc. However after years of things being dropped down there never to return, the other day I was down there looking for a spacer, and found a completely different spacer. I also eventually found the spacer I was looking for. I think the void's appetite may finally be satiated, and it is now ready to return some of my items. 😁

On friday I wanted to install DB-01 wheels, when I realised that front Hex pin is missing. It could not be far, because this car sits in small room for months. I checked everything. I moved desk, checked under bed, flipped carpet and dog bed.

I ordered two new sets...

Today I was on meeting, turned my head to check dog and saw something shiny under his butt... Yes, it was pin.

Altair-4 is sort of left of Betelgeuse, and well there, then you have to either take the stairs down (annoying and bad for your knees) or put up with some hairy fellows in the elevator (not my thing either). And then, you still have to get through the gate, faff with the grumpy dragon who always bothers you for a tip ("got a dime to spare, puny human?").

Once inside, it's all cool. Any e-clips reappears magically, and the cat snoozes peacefully on top of the larder which is full of lesser-known hopups, such as Mad Ax' Beerless Beer (indispensable for wet pavements in Essex), or the Saito Rabbit Punch (extra power when cornering) or Re-Buggeds' Top Dog (for those who want to stay in the lead, all alone) or Skom25 - the Flourine Candy bar (always handy for some long runs). There is a lot in there, and a bunch of hopupd I have never dared to touch, much less speak of ...

Just beware of the Conrad - that's heavy stuff, dudes. Only for wizards, you know.

Keep to the right and eventually you will end up west of a small house.

Pretty certain the e-clips enter an orbit between Earth and the Sun.

When enough of them get out there, they’ll cause a solar e-clipse.

(Somebody had to. Oh. They didn’t?)

On reflection e-clipse sounds like a one-hit stadium rave act who emerged from a small market town in the Cotswolds around 1993.

I believe they reformed in 2016 with the original roadie and everyone else was new.

E-clips are small change!  I somehow lost a driver figure for two years...  I had set it aside and even put all the bits in bag to keep them together.  I dug all through my storage places (the 'smart' place to keep him), my junk heap of random bits that might someday some how be used in a build or might not but look kinda cool so I can't toss them but wow that pile of stuff is getting big, dug around under the desk, moved boxes and couldn't figure out where it went.  It feels like I did that every six months, because it just didn't make sense that it disappeared... I though it got bumped into the trash, gone forever.  Then, while organizing the desk a bit, putting somethings into bins, I see the driver in his bag on top of a pile of stuff...  I LOOKED THERE!! I SWEAR I DID!!! TWICE!! :D

If you lot could let me know whenever we manage to get cross-dimensional travel sorted out, I'll resume the search for an SG Coyote that has seemingly vanished into another plane of existence
