Gulf blue or grey?

I’m pondering a colour scheme for a future project and fancied a Gulf Theme. No the orange is fairly easy but is the main colour grey or blue? And if so what PS paint. I should point out that I am colour blind so need all the help I can get 🤔

It's light blue. PS-32 looks good and like the 917 did. I used PS-7 for orange,  but pure orange (the Jägermeister color) is probably better,  as it's less "red".

Strangely I was about to ask the same thing as ive a Kyosho Mclaren F1 gulf lined up next.

Im thinking experimenting with PS 32 Corsa Grey (not blue enough) backed with PS 30 Brilliant Blue (too blue on its own)

PS 63 is the closest Tamiya PS paint to the original Gulf blue. The orange is PS 7.

These were done in Corsa Grey and Pure Orange. The grey/blue is backed in white then silver and is probably not quite blue enough.

You are absolutely right. I must have hit an extra key, it should be PS3.

I find the Corsa Grey much closer to the original even if it might not be perfect. It's 99% there. PS-3 seems way too blue 🤔
