Guys and Gals attending Snett,

what think you of marchalling for the race after the one you have competed in? Its standard club procedure down my local, and think its only fair? Last your Chris's daughter did a sterling job, but I think it was a little unfair as she was running around like crazy.

Or shall I get my coat?

I think this was brought up somewhere in the monster 24 odd page topic here. I think it's a good idea, but as pointed out, some people might be in so many heats it will be difficult to do.

I'm happy to marshall every few races, and I'm sure my lads will too (Matt enjoys marshalling, though it might occasionally be a bit dreamy as he's easily distracted [;)]). Maybe if some more people can put their names forward as willing to masrhall we can have a pool of marshalls to stand in for those unable to do it cos of other racing/spannering committments.

I'll marshall as and when I can. Most the time I'll have a view-finder clamped to my face but if someone stacks up by me I'll tip you up no problem. In fact if youy can all crash in front of me and go up in flames on several occasions, I'll send the tapes off to Kirsty's Home Videos and the money will pay for free Snetterton in the summer (provided I didn't spend it on a Thunder Tiger EK4-S2 which is a distinct possibility )[:P]

My daughter, Molly, is coming down especially to marshall - she's looking forward to it [:)] Alans son Ryan I'm sure will be up for it too. I've had special TShirts made for them.

But as with the whole event the more people that help the better it is.

Cheers

Chris

If your racing again straight after one race it should not be a problem as long as your willing to marshal the races your not running in.

Right guys, This has all been said before. But, If we can have as much help as poss with marshalling when people are not racing it would be TOP.

We don't need loads of mashalls, Just a few per race should do. We should be ok, So don't worry everyone![;)]

Sorry to be a worry guts. The problem is insurance. If by chance someone gets hurt by a car on the track, we that is Snetterton Park Model Car Club cannot be held responsible, and whilst I know that you are all mates etc some sort of claim may take place. What concerns me most is the "younger members" marshalling, if in their haste to retrieve an upturned car they get hit and hurt by another car it could have serious reprocussions, all I ask is please bear this in mind over the weekend.
