Clumber next weekend anyone?!

Just a little meet next Sunday at Clumber park if anyone wants to have another thrash in some puddles! [][]

Great place for the off-road's[]

Me, Paul(Bugsy) & jane, & Joe(Volksrod) are going to be there about 11am on the Sunday 28th.

I'm gonna give Mounty a dipping & Rough Rider again [][][]

I might be able to make this one, spent the week putting cars back together with radio gear in.

Never been to Clumber, has anyone got a map reference, I might not get there until 12 though.

Clumber Park is on the A614 between the A1 (Clmber Park Roundabout) and Worksop. The cafe is opposite the main entrance to the park

Rough position for GPS or Autoroute are

Lat=53.27375 North

Long=1.02873 West

We always meet at the cafe/carpark across from Clumber park entrance on A614.

We are usually there about an hour. But if not, Go into Clumber & drive for a about 1-2 miles & ya come to a big opening on the right behind some trees, Cant miss it. We always go there [][]

Great time had by my daughter and I, took along 4 working cars and came back with 1 working....[] An ESC went on fire, one motor siezed and one servo failed but lots of fun. Very nice to put some faces to names as well. Sorry didn't get to spend much time chatting as I was fixing the cars and had to leave early. Hope we have another meet there soon as it is only an hour away from me.

BTW got some speed recordings on Chris's radar gun, fastest was the 2WD thundershot at 27mph (and it was still spinning its tyres at that speed) and slowest was my daughters thundershot at 10mph although they were all woefully undergeared as we aren't used to having so much space to play in!!
