@wtcc5 it works with the link inserted from the other media, insert image from url. Ya just need to remove the Img codes in brackets.

Sorry, I don’t get it. If I remove the [img] I just get link?

On the forum here there’s a button called “other media” on the bottom of the box you type a post in. Paste the link in the box that comes up and click “insert”

Sent off to another Country for a job, woke up at 4.30 AM, worked until 5 PM, got properly drunk right after at a divy Irish pub, then back to the Airbnb with finally some internet connection to check back on my forum that feels like home... just to be hit with this?!? 🤯 Whats that all about then?... I am sure this will all work itself out in the next few days. The forum has clearly been creaking a bit recently, so if this upgrade to the look is how it gets to continue then I am all for it. Want to say a massive thanks to Netsmith Chris for keeping the forum going. It must be a big lot of work to do changes and upgrades like this. I really appreciate it as I know how much I would miss this place if it went down.

Is there somewhere we can make requests like this (or indeed exactly this suggestion) officially? Does it need to be in the "Tamiyaclub Rules and Site Usage" section? Only that title feels more like a section especially for admins only to post info and I cant see anywhere else appropriate.

The photo issues were also related to a change in Imgur, as the way it copies links has changed. I've had that issue since last week.

As with all changes it takes about a day to get used to, now I can't remember how it used to look.

I'm old enough to remember when the world lost its global **** when FB moved something slightly left. Now I just accept that websites have to change. If you disagree just have a look at internet archives from the early 2000s....no way would anyone prefer that.
