Hello, I’ve recently found that I can’t post photos, every time I try it says ‘an unknown error occurred’. It’s less then the maximum MB and I’ve tried on multiple devices. Has anyone else had this problem?

Uploading a photo doesn't work for me since the forum software was updated.

Yup, same here, but I'm sure it's being worked on. Since the forum is being updated, expect some things to take awhile for full functionality.

And attaching a photo directly seems to work ok too.

And you just had to pick two photos of my two dream cars 🤣;)

I typically use TCPhotos, but just tried a direct attachment and also get the error. Chris @netsmithUKhas advised that maintenance is ongoing for a day or so, so maybe there will be a fix

So I’ve just discovered after posting lots of Flickr links into another post, that they are not disp[laying properly either

Yep. I'm not tech savvy, then again if a bike won't start after 3 kicks it's put in the corner....

I had something happen years ago with a Lawnmower. I had my Grandparents old Victa 2 stroke, and 1 day it just wouldn’t start. I cursed and cussed trying every trick in the book to start it without success. So left it where it was and the next day bought a brand new Victa from the Lawnmower shop, bought it home and mowed the lawn with beautiful results. After I was done, I looked over at the old green one, wondered up to it, pulled the starter cord and she fired straight up in the biggest cloud of smoke you’d ever see . It was like it refused to be outdone by the new mower in the yard. I kept that old thing for the scrubby jobs on my block (rural), and the new one only did the lawn. It never ever played up again when it was it’s turn to go :D

I post my photos to Flickr, then paste the link here. The forum automatically inserts the picture that the link links to. Seems to be working fine for me.

Thanks, was really hoping to avoid signing up for yet another site which someday will be rolled into the Facebook/NSA/MI6 data collection scheme... er... uh... sorry, getting some bad reflections off my hat ;)

Tried using links via Proton, supposedly I should be able to share url's for photos via my account with them bit it didn't want to work.

Edit- found a site I already use which appears to work, now to mail myself a bunch of pics.
