As I recall in one of the Dirty Harry films one of the bad guys would drive RC cars with explosives under cars on the road and then detonate them to kill their targets. At one point he even goes after Harry and there is a surreal car chase  with Harry running from an RC car which is in turn being followed by the RC driver through the streets.

...ah here it is

That would be The Deadpool, one of my favourite Dirty Harry films, mostly because of that RC chase!

Yes, the Dead Pool! that was probably the best RC scene in any movie.

I remember seeing a Clodbuster in an older Jackie Chan movie. The name escapes me at the moment.

Yes, I remember that too, but forgot which one.

Another good one is an Australian movie called Malcolm. He is an electronics genius that uses RC cars like Sand Scorcher to Rob a bank and deliver his milk. Tons of great RC scenes.

I also noticed a few of the cars and helicopter are from a 1986 TV show called the Wizard, which was an awesome show but got cancelled after 1 season.

Wheelie from the Transformers movies was a modified HPI Wheely King with a Tamiya F-350 body.

Not really vintage at all though.

Is that the F-350?
