Maybe I'm weird -- wait, I know I'm weird -- but does anyone else keep the paper labels from the little bags for Spare Parts and Hop-Up options?  I keep them in a Ziploc bag along with any instruction sheets that come with them too.  LoL

This is exactly what I do and I can't explain why.

Yes, as reminder what and how many hop ups hide in the car. It is often incredible how many of them are out of eye sight.

Yes, I do and I wish I could throw them away but they get packed into Hobbywing ESC boxes and stuck on a shelf.

Yes. I keep them organised and labelled in a folder with a section for each build I do. I trim the header cards down and glue them to a piece of A4 card with a label of which car they belong to. Probably a little over the top, but it's interesting to look back at.

That Neil is a great idea

I've got boxes full of them, keep them a bit like service history 😅

I think I could easily fall into this trap, so to speak, as I can see the appeal, in particular the folders you have there @toyolien. However, I draw the line at things like this - the hobby is busy enough as it is and takes up too much space, so these go in the recycling as they are opened!😵

I'm rather pleased to find it isn't just me...

I put the header cards & instructions in a ziploc bag and then store them with the kit box, instructions, etc...lets me know what parts have gone into the car.

Always done it, just seems the normal thing to do.

Yep. I have a folder like @toyolien(although nowhere near as nicely laid out) with a section for each manual, hop-up/spares tags and hop-up instructions. It’s a neon pink colour.

Now that is impressive!

Made me think of the football sticker books most of us would have had as kids.

I keep the tags sometimes, I keep them in one of my boxes of spare parts. I also keep my manuals in a folder just incase I need to search parts up too.

You means "tags of shame"? I kept them on my M08 but became embarrassed that I was duped into buying shiny blue when blue is not even my favorite color. So I stopped doing that.

On a side note, anyone else wonder just how much Tamiya budgets for staples?

I keep them in case I need to buy another for some other future car or project, but also to know what has gone where.

Well then, I guess you can all thank me for creating rarity among that stuff - I don't keep anything except the kit manual, and once in a while the box lid to put up on the wall. But usually not even that. I purposefully seek out vintage cars that don't come with a box, just so I don't have to deal with it. Bag headers, on the rare occasions that I do buy hop-up parts new, hit the trash moments before installing the part in question.

Now boxes… I keep anything with artwork on it and throw out anything with  a photo. Black edition Egress is in a kind of limbo.

Amazing stuff.

@toyolien  That is some serious documentation!  Very cool.

Yes, it's very helpful to have the part numbers and full descriptions if you ever need to order something again.

I keep the boxes too.  I like how Tamiya draws everything.  Sure, they could simply show a photograph of a Sport Tuned motor, but Tamiya chose to draw a cool picture for us.
