What is the difference between a Brat and a Frog when it comes to the wheelbase - the Frog is specified as 250 mm (I've seen 248 mm too) but the Brat seems to be longer at 260 mm?

Whatever specs you're looking at must be mistaken - they're identical except for shocks, wheels/tires, and body mounts. And the original Brat has no diff. But all the dimensions are exactly the same. I just measured one of my Frogs - 246 mm wheelbase.

Thanks, @markbt73 and @Re-Bugged - from looking at the manuals of both of them, I was worrying about my sanity ... :)

(Thinking of converting my "sitting-on-a-bench-forever" Brat into a fake Sand Scorcher, that's why I asked)

Yep, as mentioned by wheelbase is the same, but Brat has the wider track width up front.

That's only because of the offset of the Brat front wheels. The rest of the chassis is identical except body mounts.

With the swing arm design, the wheelbase actually changes.

I use "250mm" when searching for alternative bodies.

Also fwiw the Mud Blaster II (2) uses the Brat body on a WT-01 chassis, which has a 281mm wheelbase (way too long for the Brat body IMHO). I'm not sure where the 260mm measurement would have come from.
