First page states the terms and conditions (all common sense stuff) which you must tick the box to say you agree before you go to the second page with the actual purchase system. You can only order one ticket at a time, so have to repeat the process for each one you want.

- The course is ours from 8pm on Friday 27th

- Tickets in advance are £4.00 which covers you for two days. Everyone going needs a ticket, racing or not.

OK the details so far [Not So Good points]

- There is NO Mains power, although we might get the loan of a generator. If you have a generator please bring it.

- The running of Nitros is like to be very restricted and not on the main track

- The track is not in a residential area, but is next to a golf driving range, so me might have to 'limit' noisy nitros runs.

- We have to off by 6pm on the Sunday

Thats as much as I know so far. It goes without saying we have to treat the place with respect and take our rubbish away with us.

And before people start complaining - this is simply an off-road event at a great track, in a similar way to how Snetterton is predominately on-road event. Its nothing personal. Its not the end of the world - there will be other events and other venues. If you want to come then come, if not, we hope you can come to the next one.

Payment covers entrance into the event, the ability to meet others, see great old cars, watch the racing and buy and sell stuff. It does NOT guarentee racing time. Racing will be going on all the time dawn to into the night with different classes normally starting every half an hour or so. Events will be listed in advance and slots in the race and crystals will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Rules for racing. This is about having fun, the closest part of it to any professional meet you may have been to is that all the cars in the race start are roughly the same time (sometimes). Generally the races last until the battery packs run out. There are no prizes, positions or times. Racers are of all levels, from Europcup winners down to,... er me. We do ask that every takes care not to damage others models particularly as lots of them are expensive and hard to find parts for.

All frequenncies will be controlled by a peg board. The more chrystals you bring the more chance you will be able to race.

Bottom line is its a fun event ran by amateurs with all sorts of people taking part. If you want to run you new built model and want to come away with it still looking new built it is not the event for you. If you want something which is a slick professional race system, with indidivual times and strict rules for whats is allowed to run against what then again, you probably are not going to like it. If you are someone that is up for a laugh, can take part sensibly, and finds the idea of electric ferraris and nitro terra crushers running in the same race fun, or the disorganised chaos of a Wild Willy race is your idea of a good time, then you will have a blast.
