Kidderminster Accommodation

For those smart enough not to camp, err, I mean, who like a bar, hot shower and comfy bed, it appears there's a few options regards to accommodation in Kidderminster. It's looking likely I'll be staying at the Travelodge to the South of Kidderminster. About 5 miles from Kidderminster itself. I will be there Friday and Saturday nights.

The club site appears to be down so I can't find distance from the track. Does anyone have the address of the track...?

Before we all rush to book the place, hold your fire...! I'd like to get an idea of numbers going and how many rooms required - I'll then call the lodge directly and see if I can get a discounted rate for TC members.

Please let me know if you're definitely going to want a room and whether it's for Friday and/or Saturday.

*** UPDATE ***

Just spoke to the lodge and if we group book 5 or more rooms then we get a discount...! There's a pub that does food a 2 minute walk up the road.

Forgot to mention, with the group bookings it's first come first served. There will be a limited number of rooms available. Currently there's 9 available for the Saturday - plenty Friday.

I was originally going stay at a lodge, then I was thinking I would camp if everyone else was as it would be a laugh but now I fancy the hotel again !

It was a hard choice but I've decided I'm camping.

Figured

a) I want to sleep near all the stuff I'm taking (didn't like leaving it in the boot at the travel lodge in Snett and carrying up to the room was a pain)

Couldn't work out how I could drink at the BBQ near the track and then get to the lodge along with my daughter and all my kit (cloths, models etc etc)

That said I'll be missing all those creature comforts you lot will be enjoying.[V]

don't worry slayer i might not be making this one yet [][][] i've been working on getting a good few runners ready and am now building my super Blackfoot project up with a new chassis and CRP Hop-ups, i was going to camp but judging by the weather would end up sleeping in the car lol

if i can make it i'll pay on the day "Fingers crossed"

but yesterday my garage flooded out and took a few hours to drain [] hope the weather holds out [8)]

I have 1 car only (NIB WW2) no money, no time off, and i am seriously depressed with my life at present! i really wanted to come but...... maybe the next snetton if i am still around!
