About the recent login problem. Ok, I found out myself, it was a cookie problem. My fault? Mhhm, could be, but a login failure page, explaining why the login was not successful, would have helped a lot. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I plan to say at the Formula 1 hotel. I hope they take on a walk in basis[8)]! I really hope the Willy be here in time. I ordered it from Tower... My apologies if I can't get the Centurion up, I'm having problems with RC4WD! I'll still bring along the chassis though so we all can stare at it![)] I'll be driving an Opel and not my Blazer, and I'm a 6 foot tall black guy, you'll see me. What time do we plan to begin? I'm about 4 hours out, so I need to plan carefully.[]

Our tc members beermoker, djtheo + girlfried and bluesbrother have already booked a hotel in Witten. You might want to contact beermoker or djtheo for further information please. TC member dunebuggy71 will also stay over night in Witten. The hotel Formule 1 is great, but if we want to meet in the evening, it might be easier if all of us stay in one hotel. I guess it's also less fun to stay alone in a hotel.

It would be great if other members could reveal their plans (e.g. where they want to stay) since I don't like the idea that airforceone or any other member stays alone in one hotel.

Nevertheless, the hotel formule 1 is really not far away from Witten, you only have to drive ca. 5 km on the A43 into the direction Wuppertal and exit Witten Heven and then you're there.

We have not talked about a fixed time: I think that 11 AM is a good time. Anyway, I will be in Haltern early in the morning to prepare the track, so if you come earlier to help, this is greatly appreachiated.

11 a.m. is a good time. Sunset takes place very early already [], but starting at 11 a.m. we have enough time to play I think. I can make it there an hour earlier to help building the track.

We will head back to Cologne in the evening. Do we plan to extend the meeting to sunday? If this is the case, I will return in the morning of course.

As the Silbersee shore is an open place, we are highly dependant of wheather conditions. Maybe we should think about hiring a tent or something to cover ourselves in worst case scenario? Does anyone of the gentlemen has a tent he could bring, so we do not need to pay for it?

Do we need a reglementation regarding crystals (x-tal board or something)? I would suggest a more open procedure, so that everybody is simply advised to keep the radio off until frequencies are checked between drivers for each run.

Yesterday I started preparing/testing my cars...and guess what...broke my thundershot [8)]

Clod, B Beetle and M pumpkin will be ready....

and with a bit of luck my bruiser too[8D]

If any of the guys there is looking for parts/cars or whatever, let me know so I can bring stuff along if needed.

I will be coming by car in the morning but will drive home at night.

One advise for driving cars in the sand: Better lock up the vent holes of your motor with tape to keep sand out of your engine. This is especially recommended for cars with low ground clearance or low motor mount!
