J-Concepts Regulator Chassis

Building my first Super Clod Buster and purchased a J-Concepts Regulator Chassis to build upon. For those with experience with this chassis, can I get a 3s Lipo pack to fit this chassis? Thanks

Yes, you'll need to find a 'shorty' lipo.

I hope you got an axle mounted servo steering kit on the way, I don't think the Regulator supports the stock steering setup.

Anyway, document the build, it would be awesome to have more info on the Regulator.

Thanks, any recommendations? I’m able to find 2s shorty Lipo and it gets a little muddy when searching for 3s ‘shorty’ packs. Measurements seem similar though. I should have chassis in a few days, I’ll be able to measure battery compartment then.

Yes, although a little difficult to find in stock, I found a steering kit made by J-Concepts. Actually Servo Behind Axle set up, steering knuckles will need to be slightly modified but it looks like a good kit, comes with rear steering lock out also.

Some trimming on the ladder bars may be necessary for clearance too. I just let mine rub slightly, it fine, lol.
