Hi All,

Just thought i'd bring up the subject. Would anybody be interested in a Winter drive meet?

Please feel free to leave your thoughts and ideas.

How about Epping Forest? (See other topic), me and the lads and ChrisB and possibly others will be there Sunday week (14th Nov)...

Somewhere in the centre of the country would be good, but we Southerners are jealous of yer Clumber Park and Yorkshire muddy hilly bits, so that's why I decided to throw an unofficial meet Darn Sarf at Epping [;)] (Seems to be less commitment from us Southerners when it comes to a meet though, bunch of sissies we are [:P])

I'm up for a winter meet in the midlands too, so long as it's not on the 14th Nov [:D]. Clumber Park's a bit too far for a day trip from here though...

How about we get together to hire Kidderminster track for a day if the owner allows it??

an 'up north' meet at clumber sounds good to me, i also can't do 14th but what about the next weekend? i have earned an rc outing i think, due to spending 6 days at the mother in laws so the wife could go to a near by 'BUFFY THE VAMP SLAYER/ANGEL' convention[:(]. and all of my cars are runners at the moment. if there is a clumber meet, pls give me loads of notice so i can get cover at work or fake an illness, and steal my parents national trust card[:P].

Well i was thinking of sticking with Clumber Park which has been the venue from the previous 2 years and had a good turn out and was ideal for a R/C free for all.

What do you all think????????

I'd love to have a winter bash. Being from Lancashire means that I'd love it to be somewhere central....!

If anyone fancies a drive north, there's an indoor tarmac track near us which would be dry, if not warm. Also, the local buggy club would have some jumps or something to make it interesting... and they have an outdoor track nearby if the day is dry!!

(pay no attention to the 'closure notice'.. the guy's just *****in'!)

[Why not have some controversy to the southern requests!!!!!]
