Hey There Fatal, It looks like its Myself, Nikki (My Fiance), Jozza, Bangstick, possibly Mad Zero, a friend (Graham) so far! I have sent emails to all the usual KB suspects but no replies as yet :-(

My ABC was running a Peak Racing Dynasty V2 19t motor and it was silly fast.....Just fitted a Novak 13.5 Brushless set up and although the speed has dropped a tad the run times should be more than doubled per pack (Still yet to try it with my 3200LiPo's in it tho!)

By the way if anyone wants any batteries or connectors i will have some bits for sale.....

Yeah racing 3200 LiPo's (BNIB) 29.99 (Tamiya connectors fitted but deans connector and heat shrink in the box) All charged and ready to run!

Packs of 5 pairs of deans connectors with 20 peices of heat shrink tube for 3.99.

packs of 5 pairs of 3.5mm Gold Plated Banana Plugs for 2.99.

If any one wants any reserved for them just drop me a line and it shall be done!

I really hope a few more of our regulars decide to come as its been ages since our last KB, and it would be great to see everyone again.

.....Chris

I'm 99.999% positive that I will be able to make it on Sunday, looking forward to my first bash day this Summer! I don't know how many (or more likely how few) cars I'll be bringing, as they are all in various states of disrepair, but the Evo Rush and my 2 year vintage bottle of nitro should be making an appearance, and I am going to try to bodge the Lunchbox steering back to it's normal precise state. WWII will definitely be running, and should hopefully be tastefully lit up with a few LEDS. Apart from that, I will just be chucking everything in the boot and seeing what runs. I'll try to bring some yummy choc chip muffins with me too :D

Okay, I've got choccy chip muffins, double choc muffins, choc chip cookies and double choc cookies. Dunno what cars I'm going to bring though <_< . I'm going to try to get there early, as it looks like the afternoon might be a bit wet - with my track record of punctuality that means I'll probably be there at about 11am.

Can you remind me which junction I turn off from the motorway? I always miss it and end up doing a 20 mile detour! Is it JCT5?

See you in the morning, looking forward to a day (or at least half a day) bashing!

Top man Jozza!!

Its JCT 7 off the M20, there are detailed directions to the KB site at Penenden heath in the first page or 2 of this thread but im sure it will come back to you when you get off the M20 and head towards Maidstone, LOL.

Why is it all the people that were pushing to get another KB organised are not attending? Strange!!! <_<

I'm going to get the permanent marker pen out and write a big "7" back to front on my forehead, that way I will keep seeing it in the rear-view so I won't forget! See you there bright and early mid-morning-ish <_< .

I would have been there, but did not get home from abroad until 9.30 last night, no cars sorted out and too much unpacking and stuff to do....... I am even going to miss a touring car meeting today (now that does hurt :P) but will be going to brooklands next week to a new club that started a few weeks ago http://www.ekrcm.co.uk/ pretty much run whatever you like there, really laid back and fun, and racing on a very good and big track.....

hopefully next time B)

Managed to make an appearance for a few hours and glad I did

The highlight of the day for me had to be watching Chris rip a tyre apart on his E- Firestorm, seriously mad stuff fella..........hee hee ;)

Had a rare run with my Durga too, quite impressed with it :D

Don't leave it so long till the next one chaps.

You should have seen it with Grahams Trakpower 5400LiPo in it, It went flippin MENTAL Quite lidderally FLIPPIN!! LOL Then it decided to unsolder one of the wires from the speedo all by its self, Clever car that one. The ESC says it can handle up to 12 NiMh cels or 3 LiPo cells so wait til the next time.....LOL

Had a great day and it was really nice to see some of our old KB regulars joining us for the day or even a few hours. Im afraid I didnt take any pics this time as I was just too busy driving and having fun, Sorry all!!

Shout out to Mr Biccies, 80skid & Ben (Blimey, is he going to grow any more?) Bonnerworld, Jozza & Graham (soon to be Pieman), for making a good day out a GREAT day....

A couple of the guys were asking about a change of venue for the next KB, The 3 proposals are..........Ashford (The Warren, off road/crawling/rally)...........An Onroad/touring car/drift bash (location to be determined, any ideas welcome).....or.....A Beach Bash (before the winter closes in again, could be at Great Stone again or if anyone knows of another good bash site let me know) Obviously a beach bas will be dependent on the tide times for most places!!!

My Next weekend off is going to be the 27th/28th Sep so thats the date im putting forward, if its too inconvenient for people the date can be moved! i just wont be able to attend.

Let me know your thoughts on the next bash date and venue, and we'll take it from there.

Thats all for now folks, untill the next time.......Chris

Another great day out, and the torrential rain promised by the weatherman never happened, which was good. The E-Firestorm was pretty mad with the 5400 in it, and the brushless Mini-T was most impressive too - I enjoyed finishing off the spur, pinion and possibly diff too; thanks for letting me loose on it Chris!

My WW2 put in stirling service, being the only car which would run on my now duff stick packs - I think that leaving them on the shelf for a year hasn't helped so I will be getting some replacements ready for the next bash day. The E-Zilla ran for about 15 seconds before dumping, so I think that is going to need new sticks too. But my Nitro Rush Evo gave me some good fun, and I enjoyed watching the other cars so it was still a good day for me.

My vote for the next one goes to Ashford, mainly because I don't have any on road bashers, and the beach venue might be a little too far for me to make it. 28th Sept sounds like a good day to me.

As far as I can tell the 28th should be ok, will have to check with her indoors though.......

Chris, best I could find a HPI e-firestorm for was 135......tried to talk to Steve about it when I was in the shop but for some reason he was not particularly chatty today???????

Hi all

Shame l couldn't attend this one. Car club stuff prevented me attending and my diary is booked with a party for the night before the next one so l won't be there either. Double bummer really if it's a beach meet. I've not used the Pirelli Bug for almost 2 years!!! Looking forward to seeing the pictures though. And come to think of it, where are the pictures for the last one?? 3 days on and nothing up!!!

It doesnt look like anyone else is going to or cant be bothered to reply Andy, So im going to decide for everyone! :)

The next KB will be held at The Warren in Ashford.

So it sounds like it should be Me, Mr Biccies, Jozza, Pieman and possibly Bonnerworld. Come on the rest of you make your voices heard!

Its a great venue for off roading, crawling, xc's, rally cars, jumping etc.....Plenty of parking......Close to the M20.......etc etc

Cool, I've not been to this venue before so looking forward to it. And I've found the tickover screw on my Nitro Rush, so no more racing tickover woes for me with that car :) (turns out it was hidden behind one of the fuel pipes - grrr)

I'm going to try to be a bit more prepared this time, my stick packs are now reconditioned, and I will make sure that some more of my cars are in a good running condition.

Are nitros okay at this venue, or is it 'lectric only?

We have run Lecky, Nitro and Largescale 2 stroke jobbies at the warren before with no complaints, as long as everyone keeps a sensible head on and waits for people walking their dogs etc to pass by before nailing the throttle open, LOL.

Im sure you will enjoy the day Jozza, there is so much ground to explore it may even be a good idea to bring along a rucsack for stick packs if we all decide on a walk about, I think Pieman and Bangstick (If he comes along) will have a better idea of further afield from the carpark as they are quite local.

Sorry I was'nt there for the last one. Having a new kitchen fitted and just plain forgot. Will do my utmost to get my bits sorted for the next one.

As for exploring the Warren for better bits for running on I think after my son Jake and I pretty much covered most of it when we last rode it on our bikes you would all be better off sticking to what you know, ie: the area near the carpark and the carpark itself. There are some decent bits to run but nothing better than what you have already seen and the areas we have used are the best mixture of trials stuff, gravelly rally stuff and the nice short grass area which suits the larger scale stuff (as long as frequency etiquette is adhered to) and you will still be close to your 1/1 cars. Just my 2p's worth.

Good idea matey, I just didnt know if there were any other interesting spots over there to have a run on, but sticking with the areas we used last time suits me as there was still PLENTY of different terrains and running conditions to use.

It will be good to see you at the next one Nathan if you can make it, Does Dan still have his cars or has he given up with them now?

I like the sound of near the carpark, it means less walking :D . It's quite nice to be able to stay close to the 1:1 to keep an eye on the contents too.. Is the terrain okay for buggies? I'm thinking of which cars I want to sort out, and I might give the Gravel Hound and Super Astute a bit of a run if it's less stoney than the Eastern Bash venue. Otherwise it will be the Nitro Rush, LB, Pumpkin, and maybe I'll get the Twin Det dusted down. Still not sure about the Ezilla, as it seems to have some sort of electrics problem. Maybe I'll just have to get a brushless set up for it B) .
