BellysGonnaGetchya! 0 Posted January 24, 2009 Hi Fellas, Sorry its been a while, Had quite a bit going on recently and only just got the car back from the garage! My next weekend off is the 14/15th Feb so hows about a bash on the 15th??? I quite fancey a more onroad event this time at the new area just around the corner from the usual KB venue, as fatal error said its also got some really nice spots for rally cars, possibly some xc teritory around the pond and at the back of the park and ride carpark, but best of all is the perfectly smooth tarmac for all the onroad stuff, a nice sweeping bend round a large roundabout and for high speed runs quite a long straight, its also perfect for drifters, so hows about it? Plenty of parking! Closer to the M20! what more you you ask for?? LOL So lets see a raise of hands!! ( The proposed spot is just off the last roundabout before getting to Penenden Heath 'Signed up for Park & Ride' (doesnt run on Sundays) follow the road down and round to the roundabout with the pond and hey presto your there!) Should be a good day, using more onroad/rally cars but of course the obligitory VLB's/Pumkins and Willeys will be just as at home!! Come on guys whos up for it?? mrbiccies 6 Posted January 24, 2009 Definately count me in, I have decided to take a break from touring car racing so will be free.........looking forward to it Will want to go and do some off road with the firestorm, now that I have sourced 2 sets of alternative rear tyres in an attempt to cure the 'lack of rear end' grip issues I had last time Chris........ I need to fix one of the ramps on my flat bed trailer.. then we can play the games of who can get the mini's onto the flat bed trailer while it drives around... anyone fancy it? BellysGonnaGetchya! 0 Posted February 13, 2009 Would be great to see you and Joseph down there Cliff, Dont forget is not at Penenden Heath but just before you get there round the back of the Chiltern Hundreds Pub by the Park & Ride Carpark! (May wanna ask you some stuff about Landys whilst there if thats ok) I hereby throw down the Gauntlet for the Fastest car ever at a KB, Just been playing round with my HPI Super RS4 (Lecky not Nitro!) and I think I got a winner. Anything Lecky goes, Dragsters, Touring Cars, as long as its bettery power your in! LOL Fingers crossed the weather holds out and we get a nice dry day, dont really wanna run all the lecky stuff when its too wet!! Not sure if I will bring the Marder at the mo, been trying to start it for 45 mins now and got blisters before the pullstart snapped, DOH! Will try and get a new pull cord tomorrow whilst out but no promises. I think this bash is going to be a breath of fresh air seeing as its aimed more towards on road and rally cars, We havent done one of these for ages now. Hope to see a good turn out on Sun but ive not not been able to get hold of 80skid, Bangstick, etc so who knows, Even if im down there on me todd im gonna have some fun running stuff, LOL
Fatal_Error 1 Posted February 13, 2009 You wont be on your own Chris.... I will give you a race, either mission or f1 car with a novak 4.5 system in it.. Do you happen to have any Lipo cutout devices which plug inline into the battery leads?

Fatal_Error 1 Posted February 14, 2009 The F1 is on a F201 chassis so 4wd. I have never had it running properly above stock speed. last time i put brushless in it the stick batteries i had would not cope with the current load.. (i want to play my favorite game... get the mini on the trailer while its driveing around)

mrbiccies 6 Posted February 14, 2009 Had a very busy week with no chance of sorting much for tomorrow, will turn up with something though! The Firestorm Flux is ready, won't be taking part in the speed comp as out of 4 possible touring cars only one is ready to go which is my Cyclone TC (which has only ever been run on carpet so that willl be staying at home...) Might be able to cobble together a mini and TT01 and I think I have 2 or 3 buggies, an XC and high lift ready and maybe a wild willy as well, will have a look tomorrow morning. See you all tomorrow then I was going to Maritime tomorrow so would have seen you there Ian but the Novak 10.5ss motor I bought has not arrived yet..... I would be tempted to wait for a cheaper one to come up for sale on ebay from a seller other than modelsport. heard good reports about the charger but know nothing about those batts..... difflockxc 0 Posted March 8, 2009 hi all first time on here was just wondering if anyone is up for creating a perminant xc/scale/crawler course/site just trying to gauge interest at the mo but have quite a number of potential sites as i know quite a few local farmers only isues i could think of were parking , acess ,insurance (dont know if a simple disclaimer would get around this) and power for charging batts but have recently been given a little honda generator so now can have electric wherever we need it

I am sure he would be interested as we were talking about building a course at the last bash..... Keep me posted as I am willing to lend a hand building a course, assuming its reasonably local to Maidstone of course
