I'm staying in the field next to the track, makes for much more driving time [:D]. I'm thinking of hiring a camper for the weekend, but being bank hol it will probably cost a fortune, so more likely to be the tent.

I'll make sure to bring a bunch of meat and some veggie stuff for all of us. How about bacon and eggs in the morning Alan? My grill is awesome. Or even a burger like burger king??? I'll bring a spare tent for someone if they want to set it up. It's a little pup tent just let me know if anyone wants it. Plus it's May so the night should be clear right?

I'll be doing the camping thing, although its been a good 10 years since I last spent a night "under canvas" [;)]. Should be fun though, and I think camping is probably the only way to go if like me you plan to take part in some night racing [:)].

Might have to exist on cold sarnies and the like for the weekend though as I have no camping gear whatsoever [8)]. I'll be praying that we get a nice warm spell and that it doesn't rain. From memory rain + camping don't mix!!!!

Apologies if this has already been covered but are there any decent on site lavvys?

Hi Carolyn - its been a while - how are things down IOM way?

id="quote">id="quote">Definitely the best way to do it, I did hotels last year as it was March time and way too cold for camping, but we camped at Kidderminster, and it was actually less hassle, no need to load all the stuff back into the car and then unload it into the hotel each night. And great for the night driving too.

id="quote">id="quote">Last time some people phoned up for pizza and it was delivered to the site, so don't worry about that! There is also a town nearby with Tescos, chip shops and so on, and it sounds like Josh might be coming up trumps with his grill [8D].

id="quote">id="quote">Lavvies, yep, decent.... hmmmm [:P]. Last year they were vandalised just before the meet though, so top marks to the track owners for getting them back up and running. And there is plenty of cold and cold running water, advise you bring your own soap though!

The Vandals have completely wrecked the whole toilet pavillion now [:(!] so its get demolished. On the plus side the owners are building a shiney new vandal proof toilet block, which will be finished a month before we arrive so hopefully it will be much better than last time.

Actually, ignore that. just saw the sticky topics lol.

Looks like i'll be pitching a tent too.

OK. Roop and myself are booked into the Hagley Travel Inn for Friday and Saturday night.

Next door is the Beaver Inn for food.

Whos with us then...?
