Thanks for a great outting gents! It was a lot of fun and I appreciate you making me feel at home. I'm looking forward to the next one!! Though spending a couple of hours brushing and air hosing sand out of my cars after I got home was no joy! Being obsessive compulsive as I can be at times, I had to cancel my lunch plans to come home and clean my cars! LOL!!

Hi Alex,

Yeah it was alot of fun and great to meet you. We need to make this much more regular so stand by for the next one. Don't even get me started on clean up - that's my evenings booked all next week. Just posted some pictures and I have got some great videos that I will get Jun to post ASAP.

Here's to teh next one, hopefully I will be able to keep my cars running a little longer next time.

OK boys how about a short meet on Friday about 1.30? I had such a good time this weekend that I can't wait to get back down there.

If Friday is no good we could always go down Sunday, I'll be at Tamiya on Saturday checking out the races.

How about next week/weekend then gents.. I was hoping to bring a couple of crawlers next time out and give Jun a little company on the rocks. This will give me a little time to toss a couple together that I won't mind thrashing.

Just found this thread and website. Recently found my OG Frog from '86 and it rekindled my interest in RCs. Its still in good condition, just needing a new body and tires. Already have most of the parts incoming. Bought a Kamtec repro, and after a tear down / regrease / rebuild, should be good to go.

Would like to meet up with some local Tamiya nuts. I still have my OG Grasshopper converted to a Lunchbox with an OG Wild Willy shell on that I can bring along in the meantime.

This weekend seems like a bad idea with ihobby expo in town. I am off there today to check it out, maybe I should geek out and wear my Tamiya T-shirt, maybe not[]

I'll throw next weekend out there are a maybe, anyone interested? I am going to start a new thread as this one is getting way too long.
