Kent Bash III - Sun 3rd April

I thought it would be an idea to start a new topic for each Kent Bash as it's now become a popular meet. So, who's up for the meet next week? I'll be there with the Det, Dagger and whatever else I can muster up. Hopefully the weather will be slightly better than last time []

Note change of date, it's now planned for 3rd April

Update: It looks like I've inadvertently upset a few people by suggesting this was moved, I honestly thought no-one was interested in going on the 20th, but it looks like people are. If anyone wants to go on the 3rd April perhaps we can all let each other know here, if not I'll just go whenever everyone else wants to.

I'm hoping to get along for a few hours. Would be nice if we had a relatively dry couple of days beforehand.

Might be bringing less this time as boot space is a bit more limited. Hoping to get to try out the rally scooby and put is through its paces a bit more this time.

and what do you meen chris "dry days?" = no mud!! i will bring you some srink wrap along so you can cover your cars in them?

Hehe - I would be quite happy if it was similar conditions to the first bash - a bit of mud, but not too much. I think the scooby will run better if its a bit dryer rather than being a complete quagmire []

Okay, it's only a couple of days till Sunday 20th and there don't seem to be many takers for it this time - shall we move it to April 3rd instead to give people a chance to get cars ready?

Maybe 3 weeks is a bit soon since the last one? What do people think?

Well, I can make it for a few hours, but have to confess that maybe the weekend of the 2/3rd of April might be a bit more convenient.

Ok can someone please tell me what has happened to Sun the 20th of march? I have booked time off work for this weekend as it was agreed to take place on the 20th in my Kent Bash thread. As i have only been subscribed to my topic and was not aware of this one how was i to know that the date has now been changed. CHEERS!!

Guys, might have been an idea to mention this topic in the Kent Bash one as quite a few of us were not aware of a new date. We are still going tommorrow....is anyone else coming?

seing as Belly, 80Skid and Brat Attack are going tomorrow, i think the rest of us should go aswell. Then there would be about 7/8 of us? I was hoping to go tomorrow anyway. If I get my dagger fixed in time then i should be able to come along tomorrow.

I think bearing in mind the confusion that seems to have arisen over who was turning up when for this that as Jozza suggested maybe for future ones we have thread for each date?

Not only would this keep the threads to a manageable size, but it seems to me its quicker to scan the events section and see whats going on. This seems to work well enough for the Clumber meets - what do people reckon.....
