Are there any shows in the UK

Hello I am new to this cool sport. I was wondering if there are any shows in the UK, where all the manufacturers have displays and stands. A bit like the motor show at the NEC but smaller?

I live in Grantham Lincolnshire. Are there any clubs in my area, where my 8 year old son can run his cars, and me when I get my nitro force up and running?

There was a show called 'Model Expo' at the NEC last year at which there were a number of car related stands and displays (including Tamiya). It was a bit disappointing, but hopefully will be better this year http://www.modelexpo2005.co.uk/. Maybe see you there []
