Hello all, the information below is already spread across serveral other threads in this forum but I thought it was worth grouping it all together in one place, just to be sure everyone is clear about what to expect.

With the profile of tamiyaclub.com increasing, the events become larger and more fun each time. With each event comes a greater requirement to make sure the events runs smoothly and safely. In order that we can meet this requirement, it has become neccessary to implement a simple disclaimer and terms and conditions of admittance/racing/trading as follows :

WARNING. The operation of models can be dangerous. Despite the organisers taking all reasonable precautions, unavoidable accidents can happen. In respect of these, you are present at your own risk.

All drivers must sign on PRIOR to operating any models. NO EXCEPTIONS. The sign on sheet will be kept with Chris (Netsmith).

The club and organisers are not responsible for any damage caused to any models/equipment/persons etc or items lost/stolen during this event.

Users of electrical, gas and cooking appliances (eg : generators, barbecues, stoves etc) must ensure every precaution is taken to use them safely.

You agree to operate your model(s) in a safe and sensible manner. Reckless operation of models can cause serious injury. You take all responsibility for the safe operation of your model(s).

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE must transmitters be switched on uNLESS you have the appropriate frequency peg from the peg board clipped to your transmitter antenna.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE must transmitters operating on frequencies other than those designated for surface models in the uK be used. If your frequency is not listed on the peg board, it is NOT LEGAL to use.

The frequency bands are crowded. Always return your peg to the board IMMEDIATELY after operating your model to give everyone a chance to run their models.

Models must not be run anywhere orther than in designated areas. These areas will be designated at the start of the event.

ALL nitro (glow engine) or petrol powered models must be fitted with a suitable and operational failsafe. NO EXCEPTIONS. You may be asked to prove the failsafe works prior to operation of the model.

Nitro (glow engine) or petrol powered models MUST NOT be operated on the permanent off-road circuit.

If you are purchasing these tickets for others - you are solely responsible for passing thisn information onto them and their conduct.

These terms and conditions are here to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the event. The organisers reserve the right to exclude persons from the event without warning at their sole discretion.

They are there for the safety of yourself and all other persons at the event. We think you will agree that they are quite simply common sense and we hope will not detract from the fun of the event in any way.

PLEASE NOTE that the organisers WILL enforce these terms and conditions. The organisers reserve the right to exclude persons found to be operating in breach of these terms and conditions from the remainder of the event without warning. No refunds will be given.
