I'm thinking of taking a whole bunch of stuff to sell/trade from NIB kits down to rummage bin cheap spares. Just wondered how many of those attending are looking to buy and are taking spare cash [;)]

I'll be bringing some spare cash[:D] and bringing bits as well, there's always something I need (or think I need!) so please bring lots of stuff. My bruvs coming and I'm sure he'll have cash too[;)]

Great. I've been a bit light with things to trade at the last couple of events, but I thought I'd make the effort this time and bring as much as I could fit in. Its got to be easier than ebay [;)]

Haven't got much readies at the moment, but I'll be bringing a few bits to trade, and if I sell them I will definitely be rummaging to see what you've got Chris [:)]

Unfortunately, I can't make Kidderminster.. Family commitments.

Anything cheap and unsold at the end, PM me [:P]

The Dazmeister shop will be in full effect over the weekend as I am having a mass clearout !!!!

Pretty much everything I am going to run will be for sale as well so if you see anything you like that is not priced we could probably have a deal.

Daz - will you have any of those Lexan Mk1 VW Golf shells with you (the ones that Keith from Kamtec was producing for the Tamiya M series chassis)?

I'd love to get a look at one of these with a view to buying a few.

Cheers,

Chris

Just in the process of labelling up literally hundreds of trees and parts bags, averaging between 50p and £2.00 for the expensive stuff ;)

Not sure if they are ready yet but I will be going down his workshop to get a goody box full of lexan delights on Thursday so if I find a pre-production I will bring it along.

Fantastic - if you could bring one along even just for a look-see that would make my weekend Daz [:)]. I'll be driving up in my real Mk1 1:1 GTi anyway so would be good to compare the two side by side.

I have made a start on my RWD M-04 rally chassis and would love to be able to get a version of Keith's Mk1 Escort shell that would fit that too, but hey one thing at a time and I know he is a busy man [;)]

I've never been to one of the big meets before so forgive the daft questions...

Is anyone going along planning on selling trading any modded motors? I am looking for something around the 17 -23 turn market with a single wind to give my Kyosho Blizzard a bit of "oomph". Only thing is I am on a bit of budget [:I]

Will be bringing a Kyosho Magnetic Mayhem (NIP) - 21 (22?) turn single in a 550 size can with loads of torque. Any good?

Might be - will a 550 fit in a 540 mounting (i.e. is it just a longer can, same diameter?

Chris

id="quote">id="quote">

Got one in my Blitzer Beetle so diameter is no problem. Hunt me down on Saturday (green Espace) and I'll give you first shout - I'm sure one of the Mod Clod boys wil be interested if it's no good to you.

Thanks fury - will keep an eye out for ya, but don't hold off selling it if someone else makes an you an offer before I get to you!!

I'll be in a green Mk1 Golf GTi, so feel free to say hi if you spot me first [:)]

ChrisB, I'm sure Dazmeister might have a motor (or 2) for trade too. You might have to beat me to him for one though, as I'm toying with the idea of pepping up the Pumpkin and/or Monster Beetle a bit [8D].

I also have a batch of stock rebuildable cans and armatures in various states of (dis)repair, will bring 'em along if I have space and you can see if there's enough bits to make a running motor. Cost will be in the region of a bottle of beer [:)]. I'll skim up the comms if I get a chance and bring 'em all along.

On another note. I have for giveaway a gallon of brake fluid, used once for stripping my Monster Beetle shell, strained and decanted back into a 1 gallon container. Does anyone want it, if so I can bring it with me, if not I will take it to the local recycling centre.
