Had to be asked! My casualties were my E Maxx's ESC which decided to pack up, Manta Ray spur gear which ate itself after one too many big jumps and my M02L Beetle which needs a motor connection re-soldering. Not much damage (should have tried harder!), what about everyone else?

Only casualty for me was my Turbo Optima Mid which decided to get an armful of belt slip during the Vintage 4WD race on Saturday. There was some serious destruction with other people's cars though [B)]

OK...... breakage list is Pajero MTW steering , Boomerang rear wing mount / gearbox making funny noises, King Blackfoot shell (cracked in two almost), Chevvy S10 front gearcase and Traxxas Revo drive shaft (thanks Alan!)

Not a lot really considering, good fun never the less.

Well i had 4 runners and only broke the top chassis on the supershot. Not enough to stop it running or make a difference but i noticed significant cracks around the rear gearbox mounting points and an aerial got ripped off. Apart from that nothing, very lucky!

I broke a fair bit but most fixed there. But whats broken at moment is 2 ball cups on mod clod, mini t has snapped rears carbon fibre shock tower and snapped front hub on unimog (TT01) but during weekend broke the mini's wheel, sandrover steering arm, wild willy 2 axle. quite a productive weekend really :) oh and broke a cell of a battery.

id="quote">id="quote">LOL, can't think why Daz, after all, you do treat all your cars as carefully and gently as possible [:P].

I didn't break anything at all! But my lad Matt broke:

  • My Mini T Chassis
  • My Twin Detonator servo saver
  • My Hornet kingpin (fixed thanks to a spare from Daz's busted hornet, cheers mate [:)]
  • Gravel Hound rear shock shaft (completely snapped)

I had a couple of non-runners, the Pumpkin and Willy 2 (shame, I was looking forward to the WW2's debut on the track, but it just went mad). The Pumpkin was because I had plugged the speedo the wrong way round in the receiver [:I], the WW2 was just because I didn't have an aerial tube and it was getting interference from the speedo, motor, or anything else that I had wrapped the aerial round in a panic bodge to try to get it going [:o)]. Everything else came back in on piece, even Matt's WW2, which is a first!

I think my RC10 was the only car that escaped the weekend without damage.

Broke:

Bush Devil bumper mount (Same as the Super Blackfoot, anyone got a spare one?) Must get a lexan body for it instead of the Ranger shell, I might have driven it over the ramps if I had.

Optima Pro upgrade rear shock mount snapped in two after landing upside down from the ramp. I had already snapped a front wishbone in half while checking it worked before I got to Kidderminster.

Also planned to give my AYK Radiant a run but also snapped the servo saver while testing on Thursday.

Xpress rally car rear body mount snapped (no chance of finding one of those spare). For some reason (age I suppose) 3 of the rally block tyres have split along the tread.

SRB has a dead ESC, it never ran long enough for me to break anything on the chassis.

For those who noticed the strong burning smell during the vintage 2wd race it was the remains of the ESC in my Scorpion setting fire to itself. It still smells of burning.

Another 2 ESCs also seem to have developed intermittent faults. Hopefully they can be sorted, both were my most expensive ones.

HPI Mini managed to rip the outer pivot pin out of the end of the wishbone. 3#730;toe in one side, around 30#730; on the other.

Lazer front suspension upright snapped. Amazingly they were the only Lazer spares I had with me.

Optima Mid had a big accident that ripped the servo from its mounts, snapped the battery pack in half and moved the motor forward enough to strip the teeth off the spur gear.

And I was taking it easy with my cars, unlike certain others.

Got away lightly with only a bent tie rod on the pumpkin but I was racing it in the monster madness so I think I was lucky.

Anyway I now have no excuse to fitting the heavy duty steering set I got off ebay months ago.

Ah well, I was being optimistic on the breakages. Stripped the Mini-T last night, and it also needs a new servo (mashed gears) and steering turnbuckles [:o]. And my Baja Champ has broken a dogbone too.

i dont think i broke anything. although the state that most of my cars were in when i got there was a bit on the iffy side [:D]
