I'll fetch my barrier tape along and if we can find a deserted patch (unlikley if the weather is fine) maybe we can lay some sort of track out, if not then it'll be the usual casual blast.

Seems we have all been very slow in getting our runners actually running this year!!! I've got half a dozen in pieces on my workbench but don't seem to find time to put them back together again..... Eldest daughter is keen to run at Clumber so she has press ganged me into getting hers running. Just got to decide if I should stay at home and watch British Grand Prix........

I'm going to get there early and see if i can scout out somewhere a bit more interesting for possibly a bit of crawling action...

sounds like a good plan, the park is enormous and has so much more challenging terrain than we normally use. only prob is any stragglers wont find you all and doesnt seem the best place for mobile signals, be cool once we all know where the alt meet place is though.

Well, what time should we all meet at the cafe then? 11am? that gives Chris time to scout around?

(I suspect it will be quite busy if the weather is good, it is also getting on for that time of year when they hold horse shows etc on 'our' normal area)

PS. Should we all start wearing name badges or something? or is it just me that finds myself talking IRL to a complete stranger only to find I've been chatting to them via forums for years!

I guess I'm getting old but I really struggle to put faces to usernames, even more difficult when people introduce themselves with their real name or vice versa. Maybe we should have our pictures on the homepages?

Hi, 11am sounds good, cafe sounds like the most senssible place to meet up. My picture is on my homepage and i will either be in a Black Renault Scenic or a Red Mini. []

(Went out to get a couple of cars prepared yesterday but ended up playing with thunderfoot and managed to break that too - my only remaining working vehicle - oops! snapped the 1/4 scale steering servo completely off its mounts....busy time ahead for me on saturday)

long range weather forecast says its going to be sunny!! [8D] Although now i've said it it will probably chuck it down! I'll be bringing my usual vintage runners, Sand Scorcher/Ranger, Wild One, Hilux, RC10 (cant get right has wet my appetite for this car) and any others that i can persuade to come to life.
