Yes that's the road!!

From the roundabout on the A1 take the A614 and the cafe is about 1 mile down on the left side right opposite the main entrance!!

Oh everyone DON'T FORGET YOUR MONEY FOR THE PARKING FEE!!

Cheers everyone for a great few hours especially rc-martin who I think brought the tape to mark out the track. Shame it was SOOO rough the ground!!! Didn't even get charged for parking which was a bonus! Avante2001 managed to last entire time without breaking despite some awesome end over ends but managed to bend a driveshaft on thunderfoot and rip the bodyshell apart on my Bush Devil.

Yes, it was a good day if just a little too hot!! Nice to see everyone again!!

Roop's Cossie RS500 is nice considering it's a Ford!![;)]

Bit disappointed Claire wouldn't let me drive the Chimera though!![:(]

Great day, blistering heat has given me sunburn yet again but on the plus side i managed not to break anything which is a great shock.

Nice to see you all and a big Thanks to Martin for seting out a track and leting me drive his buggys for the video footage.

Till the next one.

I had great fun. The Twin Det lasted all of 15 feet before I lost a kingpin, but the Mini-T was great fun burning over the bumps. Shame that geezer told me to shut off the heli [:(] Cheersa to Martin for the hamburger [:P] Good to see you all again, hopefully next time it'll be sunny but cooler...!

Was a good day out. Don't think i broke anything (appart from nearly tearing the underneath of my Mini off on those bumps!) Next time i'll try and find a smoother bit of ground for a track cos it was a tad bumpy wasn't it, still, it was the first time i'd tried so i'm allowed to make mistakes [:P]

Hey, don't apologise Martin. At least you made the effort to bring the tape - good on you!

Next time I suggest we use the flat area of the field on the other side of the trees. Daughter and I were running on that and my Avante2001 enjoyed that area because it was super smooth. The area is logged off so you can't get cars to it so it remains quite quiet and empty. We'll just have to line our cars up in the trees and walk over the logs.

I suggest we make a large simple oval next time as none of us exhibited particularly impressive driving skills. I think a big oval would suit us better and allow the faster cars to have races rather than simply hitting each other!!

That track surface was so rough over the weekend that it bust the suspension on my Bush Devil which is normally indestructable!!!
